online, so it's servers are straining somewhat. some of desantis opponents were quick to mock the technical difficulties . the trump campaign labeled the launch ron's disaster. president biden tweeted the caption, this link works, leading people to his fundraising campaign. the democratic national committee writing in a statement in true ron desantis fashion, his presidential launch was quite literally not ready for prime time. and during an appearance on fox news last night, the show's host poking fun at the rocky rollout. fox news will not crash during this interview, but desantis voicing optimism, saying the number of listeners was an example of the enthused chiasm around his campaign. we need the courage to lead and the strength to win. desantis joins a republican field that trails trump significantly in the polls , including senator tim scott, who made his first campaign stop yesterday holding a town hall in iowa, and nikki haley holding an

business. gma seven eight this week. back now with breaking news in los angeles where police are searching for a man accused of stabbing a metro bus driver in the neck, leaving him in critical condition. the mayor calling it a heinous act of violence. officials say the driver was attacked and they got into an argument on the bus. and zoo officials in miami are apologizing for the treatment of a kiwi. the zoo heard outcry from people in new zealand after video that was posted online showed guests petting the bird in a bright enclosure. despite the bird being nocturnal. the kiwi is the national bird in new zealand. well, after the outcry, the zoo said guests will no

longer pet the bird and it will get a darker habitat. new zealand's prime minister thanked the zoo for taking their concerns seriously. from kiwis to bees because we're in the midst of a swarming season. abc's andrea fujii has all the buzz on why experts say bee attacks are on the rise. this morning, experts are sounding the alarm. this is the season for swarming about bees. in recent weeks across several states, humans and animals have been stung in multiple attacks, literally thousands at least a thousand on me, and at least 2 or 3000 flying around the area while out for some exercise. john fisher and his dog were swarmed by hundreds of bees outside phenix earlier this week. surveillance video shows him trying to fight the bees off . and when emergency crews arrived, even they got attacked before spraying him down. they were all over my arms, all over my face, all over my back. fisher was stung 250 times. his dog pippin, 50. they're now recovering from their wounds in

california. last week, tommy baker was trying to clear a beehive himself outside los angeles when a swarm attacked him. time to get out of here. got to the point i couldn't see very far in front of me. there were so many bees just swirling around. bees followed him and his neighbor's dog. he was covered head to toe. the dog chants died days later. so why all these dangerous bee attacks? experts say it's seasonal, with weather playing a big role throughout the state of california. we've had a lot of rain and increased rainfall. can lead to a boom in bee populations. and experts say increased rainfall means more blooming flowers feeding the bee population, which is not typically aggressive. but can be when feeling threatened. so if you are swarmed by bees, run away as far as you can, as fast as you can run away, do not stay still or play dead. cover your face and ears and find shelter.
