the first time we have seen elizabeth holmes since she reported to the minimum-security prison camp on tuesday. in the photos, holmes is wearing khaki pants and a brown t-shirt, the 39-year-old mother of two was indicted on 11 charges. convicted of four counts of fraud and conspiracy. after making false claims about her company's blood testing technology. she was granted a postponement before the side of her sentence. to make final arrangements including childcare. texas prison where holmes will serve her sentence has other high-profile criminals including real housewives star janet shaw who was sentenced to six and half years at the facility. the company holmes founded was once evaluated at $9 billion. and promise to revolutionize healthcare, by standing for hundreds of diseases and other potential problems using only a few drops of blood. until it was discovered, that the technology could not accurately perform those tests. holmes is expected to spend more than 11 years behind bars.

trickling down. according to aaa, the national average for a gallon of regular is $3.55. to sense less than a month ago and a lot less than a year ago more pain for those in need to cents a gallon. that price drop comes as gas stations nationwide have already switched over to that more expensive summer blend of gasoline. what gives? the price of crude oil, is actually been falling as global demand for oil falls. crude is the primary ingredient in gas. accounts for 60% of the price at the pump. those prices could reverse course. depending on the outcome of today's opec plus meeting in vienna, the top oil producing countries including russia debating cutting oil production by more than a million barrels a day. that would be on top of last month surprised move to cut production by the same amount, a decision that initially sent prices higher. then quickly faded. opec plus pumps of 40% of oil.

in a not guilty plea. and then the case proceeds like any other federal criminal child, there is an opportunity for the defense to make a motion, the prosecution will provide evidence to the defendant, and it will go to trial unless he please get the. >> he was just explaining some of the charges against him, you say that this is an open and shut case? >> yes, and that's my view of the evidence that we know about. the evidence is significant and straightforward. the charges are basically that he demanded money, and that he took it and he lied about it. and the evidence is e-mail of him corresponding with the family attorney. they have recordings of him speaking with the family attorney and meeting with the family attorney. so they have a lot of evidence, they even have a contract between him in the family to give the money to them. >> basically a sting operation to set all of this up, if he is convicted in the u.s. what kind of sentence does he face? >> well, these charges can lead up to four years and 40 years in

prison 20 years in each count. but these type of charges typically will be much less than that. >> okay this part i found interesting. his lawyer says his client wants to be tried, because the peruvian prison that he has been and is one of the worst prisons in the world than any u.s. prison would be like a five-star hotel in comparison. we know he was beaten recently in a peruvian prison. how likely will he stay in the u.s. if he is convicted? >> is very unlikely because the way the extradition treaty works between the united states in peru, is that he is only here on a temporary basis, he will only be here through the trial. and through appeal, after that he will have to go back and finish his sentence in peru. >> and one of those to prisons as his lawyer reported. thank you for being with us, to trade make this all down. switching gears getting a check of the weather. when you tracking? >> well we have gone from severe storms, the tropics, now we look at wildfires. this is crawford county michigan.

violence awareness this weekend. a rally in march are planned across the golden gate bridge today demanding action against gun violence. it'll begin at 11:00 this morning at vista point yesterday, alameda county district attorney pamela price visited vision quilt a group of eighth grade students created the quilt made up of ideas to solve gun violence. the quilt will be on display today at warehouse for six teen in oakland and happening today in san francisco, another edition of sunday streets. this stop will be in the tenderloin on golden gate avenue between jones and leavenworth streets. there will be live music, food trucks and circus performers along the route. it goes from 12 to 5 today. the next sunday streets will be july 30th in the mission district. and it looks like it's going to be a nice day for sunday streets. let's get a check of your forecast with francis lawson. good morning. >> good morning, gloria. good morning, everyone. yeah, we'll see some sunshine for sunday streets this afternoon, but right now we are dealing with
