our more mild spots. 71 in santa rosa, 72 in concorde and 68 in san jose. kumasi: francisco waterfront sent several people to the hospital. the rolling shootout of six people hurt, at least four of them innocent civilian bystanders caught up in this. it happened before 7:00 p.m. across from pier 39. ryan curry joining us with the latest on this. ryan: it as a chaotic scene. some of the injuries you mentioned were hit by flying glass as bullets hit some cars and some of the civilians. according to police, dozens of people were in front of pier 39

witnessing the shooting as shots were fired. the gun battle continued for a second shooting was reported near howard street. police found one of the cars involved idling there with two people inside wounded. the car sped down hitting a pair of girls ages 10 and 16. more shots were exchanged just south of the ferry building and thus were one of the vehicles was found but the other got away. >> the message is clear. you cannot and will not come to the city and commit these type of acts and get away with it. we will find you. we will find you and you will go to jail. ryan: two victims found at howard street, one of them has life-threatening injuries. the other, non-life-threatening

injuries. the other four civilians injured will be ok. they are still investigating the situation. they are looking for the second car and the other people involved. this is an ongoing investigation. ryan curry, abc 7 news. kumasi: we will check back in with any developments throughout the morning. reggie: two adult siblings were headed to the beach in an suv when they say two bullets hit their windshield. both were hurt by broken glass from the windshield. the brother told abc 7 they had to get on the ground and use the suv as cover from the gunfire. >> shootings going on everywhere. be ready to hit the ground and dodge bullets or something does happen. i'm just happy to be alive. i'm good. reggie: he said they thought of first fireworks were going off. he said they are lucky they didn't get hit during the shooting. kumasi: witnesses were also

highway 1 and bank yesterday. getting the animals back to the road proved to be challenging. more than two dozen people were called out for an intricate, three-hour operation. >> they can be very nervous and they are large and can be dangerous for the rescuers. our rescuers stood a good job of keeping the animals,. kumasi: thankfully, although forces were rescued successfully. minor cuts and the driver was ok too. the horses were part of the local rental person company. reggie: an extremely rare known to mimic the smell of rotting flesh is back. horticulturists say the nickname of this plant is widely known as the corpse flower. it's expected within the next two weeks. it only blooms every three to five years.

is windy this afternoon. that keeps temperatures in the 60's to the mid-70's. closer look in nine minutes. reggie: gunfire along the waterfront sent several people to the hospital. police say a rolling shootout left six people hurt. at least four of them just people who were caught up in the rampage. it happened last night just before 7:00 at each and stockton street across the street from the tourist heavy pier 39. ryan curry joins us live this morning with what we know. ryan: reggie, good morning. we know of two different shooting locations. the second one just south of the ferry building. it caught up bonnie and rampage that involves several civilians. two girls were hit by the cars as they were speeding away chasing each other.

witnesses, many of whom are tourists, describe it a chaotic scene. the gunbattle started at pier 39 and ended the second shooting location just a few miles away. three civilians, the scene said they were injured by following glass. police on one of the cars involved in the shooting but the other got away. they say inside the one car they found two people when did. they are still searching for the second car. >> the message is clear you cannot and will not ocme -- come to the city. we will find you. we will find you and you will go to jail. reggie: two victims found at the howard street shooting location one of them has life-threatening injuries. the other has non-life-threatening injuries.

the chief says the other civilians entered, all of them are expected to be ok so that is good news following this. they are still looking for the second car. the investigation obviously still ongoing. ryan curry, abc 7 news. reggie: we will be sure to check back throughout the morning for any new developments on this investigation. kumasi: a teenager is dead this morning, and other injured after a shooting overnight in washington, d.c. it happened around 8:45 and police got there and found two boys when did. separately in the area within two hours of that. three people were injured, two of them miners they are all expected to survive. we are learning of three other mass shootings taken place at locations where people were celebrating. here's abc 7 news reporter jaclyn lee.

kumasi: the warriors did not finish the season with back-to-back championships. the franchise celebrated the 10th anniversary of the community foundation. it finds ways to give back through grants and refurbishments and educational programs. >> all of our team members, we did 60 hours of community service not mentioning players and all the other things we did. since the inception of our foundation we have given out over $30 million in grants.
