things are getting back to normal. reggie: good morning welcome to june 19 -- it is juneteenth. kumasi: we are looking forward to the day. drew: and we have some cool spots in the 40's starting out in the 50's. take a light jacket with you you will need it for much of the morning. it is cool out there because the wind is gusting to 30-36 miles per hour. 31 at sfo. the onshore flow we have will keep temperatures on the cooler side for the afternoon, but we will have sunshine to plan out the day. we are bouncing around the temperatures in the 60's and 70's by around 4 p.m.. reggie: we look at the bay area freeway. because it is juneteenth the traffic is light on the bay bridge. the median lights are not even on and there is no wait at the

tolls. kumasi: developing news in san francisco. multiple shooting sent people to the hospital. officers say the shoot out left people hurts. at least four of them are innocent bystanders caught up in all of this. if you look at the map you can see where it happened before 7 p.m. on the beach in stockton street. right across from pier 39 where so many tourists are in san francisco. joining a slide with the details is ryan. ryan: good morning, many of the civilians as you mention, described this as an extremely chaotic scene. from what they remember, some of the people who were injured got injured by a shard of glass flying from cars that were hit by gunfire. they are still recovering from those injuries. dozens of rounds were fired toward pier 39. the car went down the area,

a pair of girls ages 10 and 16, and been there was more gunfire exchange near howard street. and then two people were inside wounded. police are still looking for the second car. >> it is clear. you cannot and will not come to this city and commit these type of acts and walk away from here and get away with it. we will find you. we will find you and you will go to jail. ryan: chief scott says of the two victims found with a gunshot wound at the howard reed location, one of them has life threatening injuries and other non-life-threatening injuries. the others injured are expected to be ok but they are still looking for the car as he mentioned moments ago. they are still looking for it it is still an active investigation. if we have more information we will provide that to you. live here from san francisco, ryan curry abc 7 news. reggie: many people were caught

up in the gunfire which happened right outside of the tour is heavy pier 39. two siblings were headed to a beach in the suv when they say two bullets hit their windshield. can you imagine? both were hurt, not from the bullets, thank goodness, but from the broken glass. the writer told abc 7 news they had to get on the ground and is the suv as cover from the gunfire. >> shootings are going on everywhere. just ready to hit the ground and dodge bullets if something happened. this happened to be live. reggie: he said at first they thought fireworks were going off nearby. he said this morning they are lucky they did not get hit during the shooting. that is for sure. witnesses were also taking

drew: east bay hills this morning. what a lovely start to the holiday of juneteenth. we do not have much of a marine impact at all. some clouds out there but most of us start with sunshine this morning. the wind early on strongest on the coast and around the bay shoreline. they gust 20-30 miles per hour already in spots. as we head into the afternoon and evening the wind is widespread as they pick up. this is 6:00 p.m. later today. everywhere we have the wind around 25-35 files per hour. -- miles per hour. it is windy out there and it keeps the temperatures on the cooler side for this afternoon. we go into the mid 60's and 70's by 4 p.m.. reggie: commemorating juneteenth.

reggie: the major rescue operation on the sonoma county coast. this trailer carrying six horses crashed. getting the animals back to the road was quite the challenge. a team of more than two dozen were called out for an intricate three hour operation. >> they can be very nervous and they are large and they can be dangerous for the rescuers. we had rescuers that did a great job of keeping the animals calm

street and be embarcadero area ryan curry is live in san francisco about who was hurt in the investigation. ryan: we know about shooting locations as cars were making their way among location to the other. police say they hit and struck two girls ages 10 and 16. they are expected to be ok but they described it as an extremely chaotic scene. witnesses many of whom were tourists visiting the city describe it as such. it started at pier 39 and ended at the second location scene a few miles away. three civilians at pier 39 location were injured by flying glass as some of the bullets struck cars nearby in that location. police say they found the -- one of the cars involved in the shooting but the other got away. they said inside one car they found two people were wounded. they are still searching for the second car. >> it is clear you cannot and
