but first a shocking brawl and stabbing at levi's stadium during a soccer game last night. >> videos of a turned into a stabbing inside levi's stadium are circulating online. police are investigating what happened during the mexico qatar gold cup soccer match. people who saw the fight said it happened toward the end of the game. >> multiple fights broke out. this one was by far the >> at one point you see a man holding a knife. minutes after a brawl a man steps aside with a wound. >> i thought it was a fistfight but then saw someone else who was putting pressure or applying pressure on the guy's chest. that is when it hit me that he got stabbed. reporter: santa clara police are looking for the person behind the stabbing. they released photos of a man and woman they believe are involved.

for thousands of people who saw the fight, it dampened what was supposed to be a family friendly event. >> watching the game >> the games, we are supposed to enjoy them. not leave with sadness or worried about someone's health. >> we reached out to levi's stadium and the association that organizes the gold cup but we have not heard back. outside. this is a big question we are all asking. how foggy will the fourth sky be tomorrow? >> spencer christian is with us. spencer: we will start with a look at the 24 hour forecast. the sun rising well before 6 p.m. a.m.. by 7:00 you will see clouds and

fog and drizzle lingering near the coastline and the bay. maybe some drizzle. there may be wet spots. by noon we will see sunny spots. mostly sunny going into the afternoon. temperatures rising to the upper 80's. in the inland spots, 70's around the bay shoreline. 8:35 one the sun sets we will still have sun over much of the bay area but will we see fireworks? at 9:00 tomorrow as we are getting ready to view fireworks we will have mainly clear skies in our inland areas so viewing conditions inland will be terrific. in san francisco we are going to have a building marine layer. some fog that may obscure slightly our view of the fireworks. it is 50-50. a deepening marine layer. if it is a thin marine layer will get nice, filtered fireworks. i will have the full forecast a little bit later.

the day before in hopes of saving the perfect spot along the route with your chairs or some tape. >> it is kind of our thing. all the townspeople come out. reporter: they came out a day early for this. july 3 fireworks and family tradition. >> i came to bring my grandkids. they have not had the summer, while. my sister has now passed away. this is something she really loved. reporter: it is just a little colder compared to danville. >> we should have brought more blankets. reporter: but even the cold could not keep the thousands at marina bay park from celebrating our great nation with fireworks, friends, and family. >> we have a great country and the fact we can celebrate is amazing. >> i guess seeing people feel proud of their country. just being with friends and family, to give us a break from all the chaos. reporter: j.r. stone, abc7news.

>> san francisco is its big fourth of july show. sky 7 was flying over the barges getting loaded with fireworks for tomorrow night. events begin tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. with the musical waterfront celebration. the fireworks show starts at 9:30 over the bay. >> the flashes and the b always exciting but there is a new future for the fourth. several places in the bay area are putting on drone shows instead. you have probably heard of these. two drone shows are scheduled this week, one at brentwood's fourth of july festival and the other at the alameda county fair. texas-based company sky elements, drone shows, is really leading the charge. they have transitioned from regular fireworks shows over the last five years. how do they work? multiple drones are programmed to move in sink with one another which creates dazzling lighting

displays. officials say the drone shows will only continue to expand throughout the country. >> it has been going gangbusters here for the past three years. we are flying a little over half of all the drone shows in the u.s. right now. reporter: officials say drone shows provide a number of benefits including advanced technology, reduced risk of wildfires, and not as much pollution. >> if you're trying to get to watch real fireworks shows you might be blocked from your favorite lookout spots this year. starting at 510 a.m. tomorrow some roads in the east bay hills will be close to nonresidents. you see them on the map. it includes a five mile stretch of grizzly peak boulevard between skyline and centennial including parts of centennial drive. no stopping will be allowed at the dirt turnouts as well. those have been popular spots to catch the fireworks shows but first responders say there has been overcrowding and illegal parking.

>> that was a big problem because of the cars that would go to spectate fireworks and block and we would not have emergency access through the area which is very unsafe for residents that might be in a medical emergency or fire call. since that started, blocking it off completely has made a very big difference for emergency vehicles. >> the closures will be lifted at 5:00 a.m. wednesday. >> if you are looking for ideas for approved and family from the fireworks shows or other events, we have you covered. head to our website. there's everything from county fairs to parades or even a fun party and a tour of the uss hornet aircraft carrier in alameda. you can find it all on the front page of our website, abc7news.com. dan: a major heat wave across 15 states. weather alerts say the temperatures will reach three digit numbers for the fourth of july holiday. there is currently a heat advisory for 35 million americans. >> it was impressive. it was so humid and hot.

it was just very difficult to walk. hard to breathe actually. >> temperatures will rise as high as 118 degrees in death valley. the bay area will experience record heat numbers in spots. several storms have been making their way across the east coast states. some areas have been hit by heavy wind, hail, a lot of flooding. weather advisories will stay in effect through the holiday until thursday. >> four people are dead and four injured after shooting in philadelphia. six people were shot including two children at 8:30 this evening. one of the victims who died is believed to be a teenager. authorities say they took a person suspected to be involved into custody shortly after the shooting. that person was found wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a handgun and rifle. >> beachgoers in los angeles are being urged to stay away from poison sea lions. the animals have gotten sick

from that massive algae bloom along the state beaches. comic-con the east bay lakes are shutting down because of the algae. >> it is unusual to walk by on the fourth of july weekend and see no one swimming. that is pretty much unheard of. >> dangerous levels of blue-green algae have bloomed in certain areas. multiple lakes and beaches have been forced to close which means people cannot swim or bring pets into the water. officials say many factors play into the blue-green algae bloom. the weather, heat, and climate ch he is a look at what is closed . niles swim area at hoe lake in fremont is shut down. there is an advisory in place for del valle regional park in livermore. >> san francisco controver surrounding coit tower. a struggle around what would be shown above it. >> the fda approves a new test for pregnant women designed to detect a potentially

a new art installation of lasers celebrating the 50th anniversary of the tower on the fourth of july. >> it is an icon in san francisco. one of the very few things that can be seen from just about every point of the city. reporter: the display will run tuesday through saturday and is put on by local nonprofit illuminate. the same group which runs the lasers down market street during pride weekend. >> the plan is to run 12 lights around in a circle from the base of the tower around the base of the tower shooting through the center of the tower and up to the heavens. reporter: the sutro tower display is one of several plan for the city. they want to do installations at coit tower as well as grace cathedral. >> it's going to be a spectacular summer. reporter: some of the plans have run into problems. coit tower is meant to run from july 14 through 16th but has not been fully approved by the parks and wrecked department. the uncertainty getting the attention of several local

today. it is the first time a crime more than a decade that a tahoe ski season has gone this long. after the fourth, once the crowds pack up on the tahoe beaches, this robot will move in. the remote-controlled robot known as b bought has been -- b bot has been collecting trash around the lake. it is funded by the league to save lake tahoe and eco-clean solutions. they say july 5 is the worst day of trash pickup at the lake. the b bot moving as fast as a lawnmower doing its best to pick up juice boxes, cigarette buds, or bottle caps. >> look up. the supermoon is a lot closer to earth than any other full moon event this year. it is 14,000 miles closer to our planet which makes it appear much larger. take a look at this video of the moon rising above san francisco's skyline. officials say the best time to view the moon in peak elimination is 4:39 a.m. our

time. this month's moon is known as the buck moon. i saw it out the window and it looks huge. >> 14,000 miles. >> who was something to -- it was something to behold. at its closest point to the earth in its orbital path. that is why we call it a supermoon because it appears so large. we have some super weather coming our way. mainly calm wind. surface wind across the area. however there are gusty spots. take a look at wind speeds. we have gusty winds in the delta area were 26 miles per hour right now at fairfield and 30 miles per hour at rio vista. most other locations have wind speeds at 10 miles per hour or lower. the 24 hour temperature changes so much cooler right now then this time last night. 17 degrees cooler in concord.

pull back to the coastline by midday giving us a sunny day tomorrow. in the evening we will see lingering low clouds near the coastline which may give us concern about fireworks tomorrow night. overnight low temperatures mainly in the mid to upper 50's. highest tomorrow, low 60's at the coast, mid to upper 70's along the bay shoreline. most inland locations will warm into the mid to upper 80's. one or two spots might top out at 90 degrees. 90 at cloverdale. let's talk about the fireworks forecast. tomorrow night 9:00 a half-hour before the fireworks begin. skies will be mainly cloudy inland. folks who are watching the inland fireworks displays will have a pretty clear unobstructed view. here in san francisco we have to contend with the fog. there will be low cloudiness at 9:30 tomorrow night. we just do not know how deep -- how dense it will be. if it is a thin layer of clouds we will have a great view of the fireworks. temperatures at the time of the
