inland. we are 15 degrees cooler there where that onshore breeze has finally reached you. clouds are slow to break down by 9:00 a.m. they are still along the bay line. today our warmest spots are going into the 80's so we will have that bright sunshine inland, temperatures close to average for this time of year. we will take a closer look at that fog forecast and cooler weather moving in by the end of the weekend just a few minutes. kumasi: san jose police -- >> san jose police are investigating how a car slammed into a tree and then a house. it is unclear how much the damage will cost and if anyone was hurt during this. . kumasi: developing news this morning, santa clara police are looking for two people they believe are involved in a fight that led to a stabbing at levi's stadium. all of this happened during a soccer match sunday. lauren martinez has more on what happened. >> videos of a fistfight tha

turned into a stabbing inside levi's stadium are circulating online. santa clara police are investigating what happened during the mexico-qatar gold cup soccer match on sunday. people who saw the fight said it happened towards the end of the game. >> multiple fights broke out, this one was by far the worst. >> at one point in the video you see a man holding a knife. minutes after a brawl, a man steps away with a wound. >> at first i thought it was a fistfight, than i saw someone else who was putting pressure or applying pressure on the guy's chest. that is when it hit me that he got stabbed. >> santa clara police are looking for the person behind the stabbing. monday night they released photographs of a man and woman they believe were involved with the stabbing.

includes musical waterfront celebration starting at 2:00 p.m.. there will be several performances throughout the day. it concludes with the big fireworks show later tonight. kumasi: if you are trying to get out and watch the fireworks shows, you may be blocked from getting to your favorite lookout spot. some of the roads in the east bay hills are shut down, if you do not live there. that includes a five mile stretch of grizzly peak boulevard between skyline and centennial, including parts of than tennille drive. no stopping will be allowed -- of centennial drive. no stopping will be allowed. first responders have said there have been overcrowding and illegal parking. >> it was a big problem because the cars that would go up there to spectate the fireworks would block the way and we would not have emergency access which is dangerous for the residents who may have needed a fire call. since blocking it off completely it has made a big difference for

the problems and if you are flying in or out of the bay area you know that is an issue because they have a big hub here . from thursday to sunday dsa is saying its officers screened nearly one million people. that set travel records at airports across the country. this morning millions of americans are on alert for dangerous heat. power outages have left more than 100,000 customers in the dark. fire warnings have been issued in parts of the west. it is prompting more cities to replace their fireworks with drone shows. that includes the alameda county fair. >> there is less noise pollution, there is less pollution in general, and we can run it every single night, versus a fireworks show we can run maybe once. kumasi: more than 30 million people in the west are facing heat alerts today. in portland temperatures are reaching 100 degrees.

off. we will have fog, along the coastline we will have fog over the city and we will have some, patchy fog around the east bay shoreline. in the south bay, the inland east bay and much of the north bay will just be fine when it comes to those fireworks. take a look at the state. highs today, we are cool along the coast in the 60's and 70's, but still dealing with some excessive heat in our valleys. here locally this morning we are a lot cooler inland than we were this time yesterday. winds picking up later this afternoon too. we will have that onshore flow gusting 25 miles per hour, knocking her temperatures backed average for this time of year. we will have clouds along the coast all day long. temperatures mainly in the 80's and our warmest cities, let of 60's and 70's around the bay shoreline, which is where we should be this time of year.

palisades taking advantage of the historic winter season. it is the first time in more than a decade that a tahoe ski season has lasted this long. after the celebrations wrapped up, this robot will be moving in. the remote control robot known as bebop has been going around for months collecting trash around the lake. the electric, solar robot is funded for by the league to save lake tahoe and eagle clean solutions. they say july 5 is the worst day of trash pickup at the lake. be bot can move around as fast as a lawnmower, doing its part pickup juice boxes, or loose bottle caps. kumasi: independence day celebrations are already in full swing. the qantas independence day parade resumes today. people were busy securing their viewing spot for the parade. >> it is our nation's birthday.

investigating a mass shooting at an outdoor festival celebrating the fourth of july. this was the scene just before mid night there last night. 11 people were shot, 3 have died. we will keep track of the story throughout the morning. another mass shooting to tell you about, and it also happened last night disrupting fourth of july celebrations, this one in philadelphia where police know have a man in custody who killed 4 people. >> multiple shots fired. guy with a longgone. em: overnight a jul turned deadly after a heavily armed gunmen opened fire into the street's, killing five and injuring two boys. the victims are believed to be random. >> this person decided to leave their home and target individuals. em: the shooter identified as a 40-year-old man now in custody along with another police
