[cheering] >> anita different reno captured the moment that the ruby princess finally set sail from san francisco. she thought that her bon voyage would never happen. >> who would have ever thought that we would be sitting here for four days? i am just so excited to go out the golden gate for the first time in my life. and it is going to be great. >> the ruby princess has been fully cleared as of last night. >> passengers the green light was given overnight to sale. >> i just walked down because i wanted to see the state of repairs and i am pleasantly surprised, it looks great to me. >> repairs have been made to the ship after a talking accident on thursday, leaving a large dent and holes near the stern. the cruise line told abc7news that princess cruises can confirm repairs on the ruby

anything is ok and we will be here next year. >> security. cornell barnard, abc7news. dion: one person is dead and another suffering critical injuries after a single engine plane flew into a set of power lines near a marin county airport last night. that fiery crash happened on the east end of the runway at the psammophile aport on smith ranch road. officials say the person who died was a passenger on the single engine cessna four seater. witnesses called 911 to report an enormous flash and then a loud explosion. the lights to the area and then went out. firefighters were first on the scene, reporting the wreckage being tangled in power lines in the marsh. the pilot was airlifted to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition. >> both occupants of the flight had left the psammophile airport earlier that morning and flown into nevada and were making their return flight, both of the

occupants of the plane are marin county residents. dion: no identities have released, and investigators are looking into the cause of the crash. activists and members of the harvey milk lgbtq democratic club are planning a protest set to start right now. they are upset over the place response to an unsanctioned skateboarding flash mob at dolores park saturday night. police officers in riot gear moved in yesterday to his first the crowd of hundreds of skateboarders who took over dolores street. this event has been held on and off for years with the last one taking place in 2020. metro streetcars and a muni bus were vandalized with graffiti. police searched participants to disperse without much success. >> i hereby declare this an unlawful assembly in the name of the state of california. you are ordered to disassemble and all within the dolores park

county area must disperse from this a muffled assembly. >> dean preston sent this tweet out reading in part, armed in riot gear, they issued dispersal orders, threatened to tear gas and then arrested, zip tied and detained many children for hours. the police chief says that there were no serious injuries reported at heat announced the street take over as dangerous and illegal. developing news, two men happening right now. when near the sacramento area and the other across the country from two escaped inmates. in northern california, this 35-year-old inmate was discovered missing from the roseville medical center. officers arrested him on april 6 after they say he shot a chp officer in an ambush and took two hostages at gunpoint, killing one and wounding the other. he was injured during a shootout with officers.

roseville medical center ontter thursday for an unknown medical condition.ther county sheriff ss that he escaped at 3:00 this morning but details on how he got out of the hospital were not released. over in pennsylvania, a search is on for a man police say is dangerous and has survivalist skills. police say that michael charles burnham escaped thursday night just north of pittsburgh, after being held on arson, burglary and murder charges. he is also accused of carjacking and kidnapping a couple while trying to escape risk. a string of cell phone robberies over the past two weeks have targeted women in some san francisco neighborhoods. police records examined by our media partners at the san francisco standard show that there were 22 robberies between june 23 and july 4. 15 of those, 22 targeted and they were connected to a

single group of teens. so far there has been one arrest and police say that suspect is a juvenile. the robberies happened in soma and the tenderloin along with union square and neu valley. two of the victims also told the standard that they tracked their phones to a flea market in oakland. a new report is highlighting the impact of the commuting population -- the pandemic on the committee population. the daytime population transformation is the most dramatic in the country, according to research. data shows the city lost nearly 210,000 people during a typical workday in 2021 compared to 2019. -- before the pandemic, the population jumped by 1.1 million people on average during working hours and that shows a loss of nearly 20% of the city's daytime population. happening tomorrow, the governor is set to sign a package of bills aimed to make it easier to
