city hall telling street vendors to stay safe. this follows several high file attacks on street vendors in the south bay. councilmembers are working with the vendors association to organize the event. unity groups and nonprofits are any to health -- help vendors with safety tips and resources for economics of -- the ability. it takes place at city hall from 1-5:00. a man on the peninsula facing charges in connection with a stabbing that killed one woman and injured another. vestigators are calling it a case of domestic violence. happened in redwood city on fair oaks avenue near 5th avenue 12:30 this morning. devotees responded after a woman 911 screamior help saying that someone was trying to kill he wh deputies got there, they d a man standing outside the home coveredood. the unided 44-year-old was taken into custody. the woman, who survived the attack, is expected to recover.

in the south bay, sideshows block traffic in several areas overnight. -- blocked traffic areas overnight. witnesses say that the first happened at 12:30 in the morning. on the east side of san jose near yerba buena. officers shortly responded to another one in the same area on capitol expressway. video shows multiple cars doing doughnuts as people got dangerously close. this one happened near the automall on pearl avenue. people are seen running from officers as they arrive. a three pnt six magnitude earthquake shook morgan hill at 7:00 this morning. gs says it happened along the calaveras fault. there are known injuries or damage, there are reports of people feeling the shaking in los banos as far north as san francisco. developing news out of southern california.

dion: a small plane crashed into a hanger, killing three people in southern california. it happened as it was taking off from an airport in the city of upland in san bernardino county. it crashed into the hangar and burst into flames, and all three people inside the plane died. it is unclear where the plane was headed to or who was on board. new details on this shocking scene where a small plane goes down in the ocean right in front of crowds of people. this is a new video showing the
