the 2024 race for the white house. ama: tim johns has been following this and is in the newsroom. tim: this is the third time the former president has been indicted. this time around, prosecutors have charged him with four different accounts, including conspiracy. on tuesday, former president donald trump indicted once again, the grand jury voting on charges brought by special counsel jack smith over his attempts to overturn the 2020 election loss. >> that was an unprecedented result in the seat of american democracy. it was fueled by lies. tim: prosecutors say trump worked to great an atmosphere of anger leading up to the election. his allies and campaign slamming the indictment as a political smear. >> you cannot look at this and

the hayes valley neighborhood of san francisco woke up to tuesday morning. a building under construction under fire, flames shooting into the air. >> it was more the brightness of the fire that came through the window. >> as soon as i opened my front windshield, i saw flames. j.r.: fire officials believe the flames were so hot they cracked some of the windows across the street. crews were working to fix those windows tuesday evening. while investigators say no one was hurt in this fire, at least four nearby homes were damaged and several residents left displaced. those with the hayes valley nehborhood association say this is not the first time they have a fire in this area. these images at the same location of the fire were taken earlier this year, showing a fire next to an on housed individual. >> there was a car lit on fire close by, attend on the

for registration. within 1600 students are expected to show up this week. the past few years have been difficult between a pandemic in the teachers strike at the end of the school year. >> i am excited to go back and see my friends and graduates. >> when you interrupt instruction on the pace of the scheduling in the instruction but also the interactions, kids and teachers struggle. ama: oakland unified school district's registration day is this monday. dan: we are closely following the results of what could lead to the largest labor strike in san jose in a decade. workers will be voting on friday on whether to authorize a strike. it could affect school and city services. city workers are asking for what they say is a livable wage. the city is offering a 5% raise next year, followed by a 4% raise in a 3% raise the
