all the options look pretty bleak on the baseball bay bridge series resumes this afternoon at the coliseum. the a's fans, they got another reverse boycott planned. so, you know, the place is going to be rocking. giants rookie tristan beck went to stanford. so this is going to be his first coliseum visit as a pro, but of course, been there as a fan while for former sean minaya, now a giant, it's his first trip back as the enemy. now, remember, he pitched a no hitter for the a's at the coliseum in 2018. he knows what a win in this series means for me. i know a lot of guys over there and, you know, i think they there's some pride in that. and, you know, playing playing over the bay, different different people over there, different, you know, different vibe. but you know, i got nothing but love for oakland. well, things are going well for them. you know, those fans show up and that can be a very electric environment. and anyways, it's going to be fun. it's my first time over there at the coliseum playing in an actual game and i'm looking forward to it. every year espn turns espn two into the show

weekend, everybody. i'm larry veal. that is remarkable. all right. turning to weather now. and if you're hoping for the heat, you will get it this weekend. hi, lisa. hi, stephanie. yes, a moderate heat risk out there with the fire danger increasing throughout the weekend, especially tomorrow. this morning, we have the low clouds, the fog. it is getting more diffuse out there as we look at the golden gate bridge. but we'll get some sun and then it's going to come back throughout the afternoon. 57 downtown, 63 in oakland. we're in the mid 60s. mountain view, san jose with 67. palo alto, just 55 half moon bay. some haze here. and as the air quality gets a little less than ideal, will continue to see this tomorrow and with some northerly winds, that haze will increase throughout your sunday 69 santa rosa as well as fairfield with upper 60s in concord. so it's a warmer start. zephyr cove, 63 right now. highs will be in the upper 70s. so beautiful day there. don't you wish you were there. our warming trend continues. the hottest day will be tomorrow. holding on to still

some warmth. monday inland, but everyone else will cool off and then we'll get to some much cooler weather as a trough moves in on tuesday. but as for the high elevation smoke, it's going to be moving in, maybe later tomorrow. but we will be looking at this above 20,000ft. so you may not even notice. but with the warmer temperatures, it will get hazy out there, especially in our inland valleys. right now, the winds at about 2000ft are out of the north, and that is allowing for that quick warm up with 60s and 70s above the inversion. we're well into the 70s, but this afternoon, notice the breeze gets pretty impressive throughout point raised the marin county coast there over 30 miles an hour and elsewhere out of the south. so we will be looking at a pretty comfortable day out there. what you would expect for summer, 83, santa clara, 80 in sunnyvale and on the peninsula, we had 80 yesterday. redwood city today just as warm with upper 70s, palo alto 70s in millbrae. so pretty afternoon now the fog is

going to want to come back throughout the afternoon. it doesn't totally go away, but it'll still be mild, mid and upper 60s at the shoreline. but up in the north bay full sunshine, some haze 80s 90s arriving for calistoga santa rosa but at the coast remember those gusty to breezy winds and on the east bay berkeley how about 75. that feels pretty good with 80 today in newark, 83 castro valley you head inland and we're up about ten degrees today from yesterday's readings with 90 in san ramon, 94 in livermore and 95 in antioch. and another 5 to 10 degrees of warming on tap for your sunday. so the accuweather seven day forecast the moderate air quality the moderate heat risk and increasing fire danger as we get towards a warmer weekend especially tomorrow. and then by monday we'll get more into a sea breeze. but it's the rest of the workweek that is looking cooler than average. certainly has been the theme for this summer. so if you want a little warmth, we've got it slated for right now, the weekend. so the hottest day
