layer. it's about 2000ft deep tonight and that helped to drive our temperatures down. also so was the triggering mechanism for some thunderstorms up around northern california where a red flag warning remains up until 5 a.m. tomorrow. the fuels are just very dry. and as you know, there are fires burning there already up in northern california on live doppler seven. the fog is there near the coast. it's already pushed in over the bay and the temperatures are responding. it's going to be great sleeping weather tonight, 13 degrees cooler in livermore, santa rosa down ten. san francisco, oakland and san jose. numbers at this hour, 60s to 70s as the ocean temperatures there is 62 degrees. so it is mild at the coast there. the winds are still gusty around the delta 31 miles an hour. broil blowing off the ocean, coming in towards the land. and from our exploratorium camera, you can see san francisco under overcast skies, low clouds, fog and patchy drizzle. overnight hazy, breezy and cooler tomorrow and a gradual warming trend gets underway this upcoming weekend.
11:22 pm
but it's gradual. so first thing in the morning, watch out. the fog is going to be pretty widespread. head in the morning with some drizzle along the coast and then it never quite clear as it just hangs around near the beaches, morning temperatures will come down. not as warm as what we saw this morning. temperatures will be in the 50s and the 60s with the combination of the fog and drizzle tomorrow afternoon, hazy skies as smoke continues to drift in from those northern california wildfires. so keep that in mind. upper 80s to barely 90 inland in fairfield, 88. in livermore 72. oakland 68. in the city 79. san rafael, 80 in san jose and santa rosa. and as we take a look at the accuweather seven day forecast, it does feature a little warmer weather for the weekend. we're talking mid 90s inland mid 60s coast. the temperature is continue to go up a few degrees each and every day. hottest day inland will be wednesday with triple digits 70s at our coast and is certainly going to be a lot of sunshine next week. and
