6:48 am
your morning sports. >> good morning. the 40 niners they gave up a ton to get trey lance in the 2021 draft. they traded him for pennies on the dollar lance to dallas for a fourth round pick. injuries prevented him from ever really developing into the qb the niners were hoping for and with brock purdy the starter sam darnold the backup there was not going to be an opportunity for trey to get any reps so he's off to big d 40 niners and chargers preseason finale. brock and sam both playing in this game purdy the first two series here to brandon aiyuk nice move by the wide receiver who's been outstanding this training camp down right around the one but the drive would stall after a jordan mason fumble still no nick bosa who was holding out no problem there. fred warner shooting the gap for the sack second drive for brock purdy. and you see he reads the defense so well hitting deebo samuel in stride on the slant for a first down purdy five of 973 yards in the air later on the drive nobody's open purdy sees the hole in the defense, takes it in himself for the touchdown six nothing niners they've got both

kickers hurt so extra points were an adventure sam darnold comes in after purdy a strike to willie snead tight roping in the back of the end zone darnold six of 1189 yards and a score the chargers won the game 2312. but the focus after the contest was on trey lance. >> and when we told trey, when we told him that he wasn't the two, i said, we'd like to keep him here as the three. but we also want to do what's good for him too. and we'll see how this plays out. now, when we looked in other teams and he told us that he would like another opportunity to go somewhere where he had a chance to be the two, we thought we'd got some good deals for him. there was a number of teams involved to end up getting in. the fourth was a little better than we anticipated. dated and clears up a lot of money and allows a better situation for him to lot of baseball braves and giants all dressed up on a friday night. >> second batter of the game for michael harris. the second takes logan webb deep and out almost into the water. not quite one, nothing. braves in a flash, top four former athletic matt olson doubling to the gap in right

6:51 am
a system here that definitely influenced us the past couple of days, but now it's high pressure. that's going to build in compressing our marine layer in the days ahead. but today it has made it all the way over to the east bay. cloudy start here with the fog. the golden gate bridge, 58, downtown, 60 in oakland at 63. in san jose. and we do have some hazy conditions up in the north bay. that has been the spot where we've had the air quality, pretty moderate , but now we're looking at moderate air quality throughout the entire weekend for high elevation smoke, 57 santa rosa, 58in napa. we're not looking at unhealthy air, but just an advisory there. so if you are sensitive to that, keep that in mind. livermore is at 60 degrees. concord has been clear the past hour and here is a look at those yellow indicators that have the moderate air quality all throughout the bay area. so as we get into a stronger northwesterly flow, we should get better air quality next week, even though we're going to look at high pressure building on in. so it's those northwesterly winds dragging
6:52 am
down some of that smoke. it's in the upper levels of the atmosphere, 2 to 6 degrees cooler. this morning. so the trend continues to get all of that subtropical moisture out of the atmosphere and get us back to those comfortable morning readings. it is 60 in santa cruz high today of 80 degrees. so, you know, the sun is going to come out throughout the morning hours. we'll have that haze and we'll look for a bigger warm up into monday, tuesday, especially wednesday. we are sunny. nine, 10:00 inland and then across the bay by about 1030 or so. and then even at the coast throughout the early afternoon. so a nice day on the way and even more sun for your sunday. but temperatures will be slowly ticking up. so we'll look at the microclimates all across the bay area from the 60s here at the coast. partial sun, breezy winds at times yesterday it was cooler . we'll make it into the low 70s today, downtown mid 70s across the bay and those 90s arriving so fairly typical. a nice summer afternoon, 83in san jose. everyone coming up anywhere from
6:53 am
about 3 to 6 degrees today. upper 80s in santa rosa and looking at the parade there tomorrow valley pride in the south bay. temperatures in the morning hours will be in the 60s . so a beautiful start. 9:00 noontime upper 70s and those mid 80s take you a couple degrees above average throughout the 3:00 hour and 6:00, 70 out there. the accuweather seven day forecast. so today and tomorrow we're back into the 90s that comfort zone for our inland valleys. but we like a cooler perhaps around the bay mid 70s 60s at the coast and then monday and tuesday just a little bit warmer that one day heat spike is on wednesday. and then after that we'll begin to cool it back. so we'll manage. >> you said we like it cooler here, but you know, i like it warmer every time i hear you saying that we're going to get sun, i always get so excited. i know, i know. >> so we have everything, right? >> it's good to get that combination, though. you get the foggy days, you get the sunny days. yeah. got it. all thanks,
