no cars are on it. the only ones we have seen come through our chp units or caltrans trucks. we want to show you the map of the closure. westbound 80 to 780 two highway 4 in hercules. the detour will take you on the 680 and then onto highway 4 before you end up back on 80. caltrans says this is a necessary project. they will be pouring 9000 pounds of concrete. it is not the first time caltrans has shut down a bridge over labor day weekend. some drivers are not happy about this. >> they should do it in the middle of the night like they usually do between 2:00 and 4:00

vallejo police officer in 2020. they are going to take action over his reinstatement to the force. the arbitrator ordered the officer be reinstated with full back pay. he was fired after he shot from the back seat of an unmarked patrol car killing him. the family says the reinstatement shows a lack of accountability. they are calling on the community to act. >> we are calling on vallejo to stand with us. this is the time to do the and organize to bring change to vallejo. reggie: the family is hoping they will protest his reinstatement at the city council meeting. they are calling on the attorney general to act. his department has been investigating the case for two years. gloria: starting today, you have to pay a different amount

gloria: california's taking a big step toward increasing access to higher paying jobs in the tech field. governor newsom signed an executive order yesterday that aims to remove barriers. governor counted many initiatives for education that are already out there, and this just adds to them. >> unbelievable work that is being done every single day. unprecedented historic investments that we would put up against any state in the nation, a commitment to the middle class and blue-collar workers. commitment to folks without college degrees. gloria: the executive order also directs state agencies to review jobs that currently require applicants to have a college degree. reggie: it is the end as we know it in san francisco in the tenderloin. the food portion of the nonprofit is close into the public after today. other spaces will remain open.
