headed out to the a's game today, francis is tracking our forecast. yeah, and temperatures are going to be similar to yesterday and lots of cloud cover once again, as you can see here with live doppler seven satellite radar image. we're starting off with gray skies. there's even some showers east of sacramento and most of those showers will be east of the bay area. but we could get a spotty shower here and there. this afternoon, particularly in the north bay. temperatures right now in the mid 50s to mid 60s. cloverdale 56, all around the bay, we're seeing 60 generally, san francisco, 60, san jose milder at 66 degrees. oakland 63 right now. and then from emeryville, we're showing you a pretty shot as we look across the bay towards the bay bridge. and here's what you need to know today. so the clouds linger once again today with continued chances of isolated showers. but this is a very slight chance, mostly cloudy overnight with drizzle possible once again. but finally, we're going to see a little bit more sunshine for labor day. so the reason we're
5:49 am
getting all this cloud cover and the slight chance of showers is this area of low pressure is just hanging out here off the coast. and then with this counterclockwise rotation, it's going to bring us all the clouds once again, similar conditions to yesterday. and it we started off with a forecast animation. so here we're seeing most of the showers east of sacramento. so those little areas of green popping up. and then notice this afternoon, we will get a little more sunshine, more breaks in the cloud cover. but we could also see a chance of isolated showers in the north bay, maybe east of clover dale, north of ukiah. we did get a few hundreds of an inch in napa yesterday, but that's about it. and then tomorrow morning, some drizzle possible, especially near the coast. we'll start off with low clouds, more sunshine tomorrow, but we will see a northwest flow. and so things will still be cool at the beaches, but inland areas will warm up for labor day with that sunshine. and highs today will range from 60 to 70. so the coolest spot
5:50 am
will be half moon bay at 64 and our warmest spots will hit the upper 70s today. like san rafael, 77, antioch and livermore at 77. fairfield 80. but san francisco only 69. san jose really comfortable at 75 degrees overnight lows with the extensive cloud cover and stratus, we'll see temperatures in the mid 50s and parts of the north bay to upper 50s around the bay and there you see a little bit of drizzle possible in san francisco. once again for tomorrow. that's when we'll see inland areas hit the mid 80s, possibly early for some of our warmest locations in and around the bay. still pretty comfortable. all most temperatures in the 70s. here's the accuweather seven day forecast. so another cloudy day. we'll get some more sunshine this afternoon with a slight chance of isolated showers lingering so brighter and a little bit milder for inland areas. labor day for people doing barbecues, it's going to be in the mid 80s there, but
5:51 am
around the bay we'll still see mid 70s and then at the coast almost all week long, temperatures will generally stay in the mid 60s with that sea breeze, but generally more sunshine and closer to average starting on tuesday and then next weekend looks a little bit warmer. yeah. nice to see. and the temperatures climbing just a little bit throughout the week there. yeah, i'm looking forward to more sunshine. yeah, me too. thanks, frances. well a secluded open space with a history dating back to the cold war just opened tohe public. it's called coyote ridge, and it's located near morgan hill. and as you're about to see, it holds pley other unique experiences as well. abc7 anchor dan ashley has the story. soaring above the new coyote ridge open space in santa clara county may be the easiest way to take in the vibrant colors splashed along the rugged hilltops, but making those views accessible to visitors is an engineering success story years in the making. so this here, this is serpentine. this is a
