>> we're tougher team. not a knock on last year's bunch but we're further along in the process and what a night, you know. quarterback hurt the second series and we just found a way. and the defense, much maligned the last year or so stood up. we got takeaways, were able to run and were good up front. showed it tonight. >> molly: garrett greene's injury, how did the offense respond with toughness, especially in the run game? >> they knew. nicco managed well, made key throws when he needed to. it's hard for a backup. you don't get the reps the starter gets. but he did a really good job in a tough environment. he's got two wins and played most of the game, won on the road against oklahoma state in a big game, and tonight against our rival. tough kid. good win. this is the best tradition in

reporter cornell bernard was there and spoke to both sides. what do we want? >> justice. we want it now. >> this group of demonstrators protesting outside the hilton hotel in san francisco's financial district where women's declaration international is holding its convention, says it's focused on reigniting the women's liberation movement. critics say that's misleading. >> their group is what we call terfs or trans exclusionary, radical feminists or terfs for short. >> activist nancy cato believes cudi's mission is anti-trans fans and their basic premise is that patriarchy and men are the enemy and therefore they are particularly at this time focused on trans women to say that they are not real women. >> i mean, ultimately what i'm here to fight today is the

misinformation that is being spread about my community. >> we are people who have always existed. we've always been a part of society. that's not a trans women. but since gender police intervened when several counter-protesters attending the women's conference showed up, including karina. >> dan. what specific rights are are trans identified individuals asking for that they don't already have to begin with? >> so if we're talking about the right for males to invade women's spaces, like i said, the history of male violence against women is long and storied. we reached out to organizers of the conference. >> they declined to come down and speak to us on camera, but they did text us a statement saying that they do not support or endorse any counter-protesters. the atement went on to say, we are enjoying our disssions about the rights, privacy and sety of women and girls, including reproductive liberty and the rights of lesbian and bisexual women. back protesters called out the hilton for hosting the

cloud cover starting to move in. temperatures are mild at this time. mostly in the 60s. san francisco, 64. but look at that. we're 70 right now in brentwood . and so inland areas did get some of that sunshine from mount tam. we're looking south and you see this cloud deck here moving in from the coast this is going to spread inland, widespread low clouds overnight with patchy drizzle possible again tomorrow closer to the beaches. it's going to be partly cloudy tomorrow afternoon and temperatures will be below average once again. and then this pattern persists into early next week. we're kind of stuck for the next few days and it's all due to this area of low pressure. it's a cut off, low, so it's separated from the jet stream and it kind of stays here for the next couple of days. and that's why we continue to see the similar pattern, widespread low clouds, cooler than average temperatures. so we put the forecast model into play tomorrow morning. you notice the clouds really move in. we've got clouds everywhere. almost all around the bay area spreading inland and you see some areas of green here, but we could see

some drizzle, especially near the beaches. and then tomorrow afternoon, we'll get a mix of clouds and sun throughout the day and into tomorrow night. so lows tonight will be near 60 degrees for almost everyone with a lot of cloud cover a little bit cooler there. and lakeport in the mid-fifties and then tomorrow look for temperatures to be very similar to what we experienced today with the sea breeze keeping things cool at the beaches. halfmoon bay will be 65. san francisco 68. so it's going to be very cloudy almost everywhere. then it gets becomes partly cloudy in the afternoon, comfortable low 70s around the bay and we're going to hit the upper 70s from our inland areas, possibly in the near to near 80. here's the accuweather seven day forecast. so cloudy below average tomorrow. notice not much change wednesday is when we get more sunshine and that's probably the warmest day of the week before things cool down again for the beginning of fall. j.r. >> francis, thank you so much. new developments tonight in the effort to find a peacock named ringo starr. a new home. he may

have found that and a new love. ringo starr is an adult domesticated peacock. he was found running around a school parking lot in east palo alto. abc seven shared his story this week. it was seen by a couple from pittsburgh who already had peacocks as pets. they say their mail just died, leaving the peahen heartbroken. the couple drove over two hours to the peninsula. humane society to adopt wingo. >> bingo is really happy right now. he slept up in the roosting area last night right next to the female. right next to the female owl. she's been preening him today. they've been sitting together. gosh, they just love each other already. >> the couple says that wingo spent the day exploring his new home. aren't we excited for wingo? >> yes, i
