have going on here in san francisco and in the whole bay area and women's sports in san francisco. ryan curry, abc7 news . >> well, we know a lot of you are getting ready for the weekend, so let's get a check of your bay area weather right now with meteorology artist lisa. arjun and lisa is it going to be another good beach day? >> yeah, you know, early on it is thursday 90 one half moon bay yesterday almost as hot. each day we've seen a couple of temperatures trimmed back from the shoreline and looking at live doppler seven right now, our visible picture shows the fog. it's pretty close before noontime and it will be offshore. but then reaching point raise the marin county coastline and then pushing into the bay area very close to san francisco. so the blue angels will have a good show today. but the fog is going to be right there off the coast for your saturday and then sunday. it really is going to make a big impact on our temperatures even inland. so there's a look at what is going to happen throughout the early afternoon
8:52 am
as the fog continues to creep in. and then by 3:00, we'll see it off shore. temperatures will be early on, well into the 70s at our beaches, but then dropping off. here's a look at vollmer peak 90s today, 70 right now downtown as well as mountain view, 67. san jose, oakland 62. good morning. half moon bay. winds are light. they're calm at the surface. upper elevations still out of the north. and our big dome of high pressure will be fading away today. so ten degrees cooler here, 97 yesterday, 88 today, 57. santa rosa and napa with 62 in concord, right now. and as we look at the golden gate bridge, beautiful out there. it's going to be a nice day. the change is just along the coast for the day today. but tomorrow you'll feel them inland as the fog will be situated early on for your sunday. and then bringing that sea breeze all day long, even across the bay. and then monday, a cold front bringing temperatures another ten degrees down. so it'll be well below average. so as we look at the beach temperatures, notice the fog coming back. it's a cooler day today. so thursday was the hottest yesterday is still hot,
8:53 am
but today in the 70s and then that fog coming back throughout the later afternoon. as for your sunday's highs, still very warm with mid and upper 80s to near 90 inland. but compared to where we've been, it's a cool down 60s and 70s across the bay. monday. here comes the rain. it's a cold front. well below average south winds ahead of it and then behind it another little piece of energy keeping tuesday gray and potentially with a few raindrops. there's a look at the system that will kind of die out in the next one. a little bit further to the north of us. so right now, rainfall estimates not showing very much at all, but it's still early. we still could pick up a couple of hundredths, maybe a 10th in the north bay as for the show today , we'll see upper 80s, then the sea breeze and cooler temperatures for the later afternoon, 70 for your sunday. so big difference from today to tomorrow. low 90s fremont that's down a few degrees 96 today in concord very little change inland still warm early on at
