it's broken up by huzzie. terrific play by the star, which is a very important position on this north carolina defense. >> greg: yeah, similar play that they actually scored on earlier. this time huzzie covers it appropriately. earlier in the game, restrepo was running wide open down that left side sideline for a touchdown, and huzzie times it beautifully and breaks up the pass. >> sean: he was going to be a cornerback until they had the injury to their starting star, and huzzie says he likes playing the star position because you're all over the place, almost always put in a position to be around the ball, sometimes up playing the run. 11th play of the miami drive. third down and ten. van dyke over the middle and off the hands of his intended receiver, rashard smith, and incomplete. i'm pretty sure this is the most consecutive plays they played in

paysour was able to step up and do. they have been really god, but now that they have a legit go-to game changing type wide receiver they're going to be really tough to defend, because you cannot single cover tez walker because he will eat you lei. that just obviously helps the run game, too, because safeties will have to stay over the top. having a guy that's that dynamic really changes how you defend an offense with this many capable playmakers. >> sean: a lot of the folks that stayed here. some have headed into the carolina night. really pleasant night here with the exception of that brief shower. temperature in the 60s throughout the evening. so, north carolina is going to beat miami for the fifth year in a row.

rest of their schedule. i mean, obviously the clemson game is going to be a very difficult game. clemson's rounding into form, so next week we're going to find out what miami's all about. should get wins against virginia and nc state before they finish with a huge game at florida state on november 11th. could very easily fast forward to season's end, and miami could be sitting there going after eight, nine wince, which would be decent progress in year two from mario cristobal. >> sean: he said yesterday, i have a very good football team, and it's going keep getting better. they've got a terrific recruiting class last year. they have another good one coming. they haven't recovered an onside kick since 2020. they'll try it again.

tez walker goes up, gets big, and makes the play. what a way to end it, an exclamation point on what's been a terrific night. >> sean: team nix the only other tar heel with -- caleb hood, who's their number three running back is in now. and he gets stopped. so, duke a winner tonight at home. 24-3. against nc state. so they go to 2-0 in conference. north carolina not yet a victory, but espn news is projecting the tar heels as the winner. they'll go to 6-0 overall for the first time since 1997, and 3-0 in conference as florida state after a pummelling of

syracuse today. that goes to 4-0. a tough couple of weeks for the orange, losing by a combined 81-10 the last two weeks to north carolina and florida state. but they're not out of it at 0-3. >> greg: a lot of things call happen. >> sean: orange optimism. >> greg: you always love the find the silver lining. >> sean: as you know, i'm a glass is half full kind of guy. the length of this game, there are a few people hoping the glass will soon be half empty. oh, boy. really. really? this seems a little aggressive. a little reverse to tez walker.
