>> chris: the progressive pylon cam shows horn there. i know you appreciate the subtle things there. he's been beaten up all afternoon and evening, just leaned back and threw a beautiful ball, let horn run underneath it. not easy to be finesse when you've been beaten senseless all night. >> kirk: senseless is the right word. if you watched the game, almost every throw he's been hit, left, right, up the middle. to sit in there and continue to make, i don't care who the quarterback is, whoever has the poise and toughness to sit in there and throw the ball accurate downfield. >> chris: check it out. far left of the onside kick, travis hunter is isolated. jace feely will try to do something. see if he kicks number 12's direction. not often you see the isolation,

studying sleep patterns, when they practice, giving them a few more hours of rest, recovery aspect. i love that report and offensive linemen and defensive linemen with the flexibility. it's not just size and strength, that's a big part of it. but as the defensive linemen have shown tonight, it's quickness, balance, and flexibility to make plays. >> chris: innovator in lots of ways. wonder if he looks at the nfl and wonders why they criticized me so much for trying to run out of the shot gun and bring things from saturdays to sundays when there's so much around the league. >> kirk: look at them now. >> chris: that's what i'm saying. >> kirk: all you see. >> chris: they really roasted him, take that college crap -- veteran coaches. charles kellys.

8:08 pm
>> first give travis hunter credit, two phenomenal interceptions. we turned the ball over in the run game twice, uncharacteristic of us. we have to play our football and not turn it over against a good offensive team. lot of respect for shedeur hanging in tonight. tough kid, tough player. wins are hard, we'll take it. >> holly: you came out after the half, quick strike, offense got it rolling. how important was that drive? >> we talked about trying to do something to get back, get the momentum going. i think it helped. >> holly: you're known for offense but how cool is it your defense is this dominant? >> defense is what it's about in all of football. our defense kept us in, hats off to our guys. our defensive coaching staff, players, all the guys. they made it a little bit easier on us. usually don't turn it over four times in the first half going in

with the score we had, but down 40-0, they deserve a ton of credit. >> thanks, coach. >> thanks, holly, nice shoes. >> chris: 6-2, a tough schedule. wins in this league are tough. a lot of depth and balance in the final year of the pac-12. for us, bitter sweet to come out here and watch these teams on the west coast battle. big ten next for chip and the bruins, big 12 next for deion and the buffaloes. >> kirk: big win for the bruins. a game they knew they had to win, the plan coming in was a big part of the line of scrimmage. just told holly about defense, and he's got a great one. that defense will carry them the rest of the schedule and give them a chance to win every game they play. >> chris: what a player he is, ferocious. he was ferocious on the rugby pitch, more on the football
