was killed during the strike which reportedly left dozens of people killed at a refugee camp. video shows a local hospital overwhelmed treating people on the floor. >> as israel expands its ground incursion, it's also targeting hamas in the west bank, destroying this home. and the israeli shot down a missile fired by iranian backed rebels in yemen. an additional 300 american military personnel are now being sent to the middle east amid concerns about a broader conflict back in gaza. >> hundreds of americans remain trapped, but egypt this morning opened the border to some foreign nationals. let's get the latest now from abc's justin finch. >> justin, good morning. >> rhiannon good morning. as several middle east nations condemn israel's refugee camp attack, the white house is working to rush humanitarian aid into gaza and help americans trapped there get out. this morning, gaza's largest refugee camp now leveled and many lives lost after an israeli air

whatever new funds are spent on israel be cut from the budget of the irs, setting up a potential showdown with both parties in the senate. >> fbi director christopher wray says the war in the middle east has raised the risk of attacks here at home, with both jewish and muslim communities being targeted. >> the ongoing war in the middle east has raised the threat of an attack against americans in the united states to a whole nother level. wray said. >> jews make up about 2.5% of the us population, but are targeted by 60% of all religious based hate crimes. a man in houston was recently arrested, accused of training with assault style weapons to possibly target jewish people and an upstate new york. a student at cornell university is now in custody, charged with making threats against jewish students. he's due in court today. >> donald trump junior is expected to testify today at the civil fraud trial. that's threatening his family's business. the case centers around allegations that former president trump's net worth was

illegally inflated to get better loan and insurance deals. trump junior could face questions about the time he managed parts of the trump organization while his father was in the white house. eric and ivanka trump are also expected to testify in the coming days. donald trump jr has called the trial a sham. >> new questions are being raised about how police responded to the mass shooting in maine last week. some law enforcement officials are now raising concerns about communication, in addition to the missed warning signs. this morning, new scrutiny of the police response to the lewiston, maine, shootings that left 18 people dead. the portland press herald reports there was a 12 hour delay between when officials found suspected shooter robert cards vehicle and when investigators began using it for tracking and evidence at a local law enforcement official. speaking anonymously, says that slowed the manhunt. abc news has not confirmed that official's account. the press herald also says a veteran sheriff's deputy in a now deleted facebook post described the flow of information between

state and local law enforcement as radio silence. the deputy saying the upper echelons of the maine state police, major crimes unit and command staff are utter clowns and i wouldn't hire them to manage the morning rush at dunkin donuts. the revelations coming hours after a slew of missed warning signs surrounding robert card came to light. >> people wonder, well, why didn't you force that contact? why didn't you look at him? you know, there are certain rights. it's in september. >> the army reserves requested a welfare check on card after another soldier was worried card wanted to commit a mass shooting and documents show in january. card's family reported concerns about his mental health and access to firearms cards. son saying his father thought people were calling him a, but officials are defending their response. >> we looked at what was done as it aligns with our policy and i can say that we did follow know our policy. we need to look at it. i think we need to say, is

court appearance yesterday. he and another suspect allegedly attacked the couple during an attempted robbery in their lake tahoe home. investigators say surveillance video places him near the scene of the crime wearing a mask and a hoodie before the attack. a bombshell court ruling in the real estate industry could affect anyone buying or selling a home. >> a jury has decided that realtors have been conspiring to keep their commissions as high. here's abc's derrick dennis. >> this morning, a federal jury's verdict threatens to shake up the real estate industry. the jury found the national association of realtors is liable for $1.8 billion in damages for controlling the multiple listing service or mls, and for requiring home sellers to pay both the buyer and seller brokerage fees in a single transaction. >> as a seller of a home. as a homeowner, you have to agree to make an offer of compensation to the buyer's agent. that's the only way you can list it. they have a stranglehold on the data. >> attorney michael ketchmark, one of the lead attorneys in the missouri class action case,

spoke to cnbc. >> there's no reason that home sellers should be forced to pay a buyer's agent. it doesn't happen around the world. the only reason it's happening here is because the national association of realtors and these corporate real estate companies are following and enforcing this rule. and it's not right. it's against the law. >> the federal jury agreed, but real estate agent josh flagg says home sellers routinely become buyers again and then benefit on the other end. >> when you're going to buy a house, you're also not. it's reverse. you get you get a free ride one time and then the other time you get to pay. >> it's big money commissions paid for by the seller and then split between buyers and sellers. agents can be as much as 5 or 6% of a property's value. the missouri ruling could do away with that split, potentially upending how real estate agents have done business for decades. >> so what happens after this is kind of confusing. we don't know yet. in other words, what the effect of this decision will be. >> the national association of realtors plans to appeal the decision in the justice
