history and the man held responsible has now been convicted. >> sam bankman-fried, the young man who became a billionaire with his cryptocurrency exchange, now faces a possible prison sentence of more than 100 years. abc's alison kosik has reaction to the verdict. >> guilty on all counts. that's the verdict from a federal jury in new york convicting 31 year old former billion heir sam bankman-fried. the founder of the now defunct currency exchange ftx, of one of the biggest financial frauds in us history. >> it's a warning, this case to every single fraudster out there who thinks that they're untouchable. >> the jury taking only four hours to reach their decision bankman-fried with his head down , appeared overcome with emotion as the verdict was read. mr. bankman-fried maintains his innocence. >> and we're going to continue to vigorously fight the charges against him. prosecutors say bankman-fried took billions of ftxs customers money without

system. abc's justin finch is here with the latest. justin, good morning. >> andrea good morning. israel is urging thousands of palestina ians to evacuate areas near gaza city where israel believes hamas has set up command strongholds and intricate military infrastructure. the this morning , israeli troops pressing deeper into north gaza. the israeli defense forces says its ground operation is expanding, reporting his troops have completely encircled gaza city and are locked in face to face battles with hamas militants. israel intensifying air assaults on hamas targets across gaza, demolishing densely populated areas. civilian survivors, including children rescued from the rubble. the biden administration calling for humanitarian pauses to allow more aid inside gaza. >> we do not support a cease fire and that that gives time for hamas to regroup. which is something that, again, would put israeli citizens and others in
