karina nova. now to the apex summit. after months of planning and anticipation in san francisco begins playing host this weekend on a global stage for the apec summit. it's happening now. the asia pacific economic cooperation summit, known as the apec summit, will welcome economic leaders from across the world, including president joe biden. while events kicked off at the moscone center, some streets and sidewalks are being impacted by security measures. abc seven news reporter cornell bernard gives us a look. i'm just trying to get. >> yeah, yeah, yeah. so just one block, that's all it is. >> just cross here. >> one lane of southbound embarcadero is now closed to cars between broadway and green street. the sidewalk is close to . >> yeah, i'm not sure why this. this is happening here for the city says it's all in the name of security. >> world leaders will gather at the exploratorium later this week, but not everybody was happy about the detour. >> tell us we can't walk there. these people are walking right

we have caltrans engineers here on scene looking at the damage and the governor proclaimed a state of emergency in los angeles county and says the state is mobilizing resources to ensure the freeway is repaired quickly. >> i-10 is expected to remain closed at least until tomorrow morning. there's no word yet on how that fire started. commotion and confusion at last night's vallejo high school football game. a nearby shooting raised concerns about an active shooter situation. the times herald reports the team was celebrating their win when people in the stands heard gunshots. police say a teen was shot at a nearby gas station and he ran onto the field seeking safety. the school followed protocol until officials determined there wasn't an active shooter there. the teen was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. so far, no arrests have been made. we'll be

in houston, police say a woman driving a car sped through a red light and collided with an suv that hayden was in. hayden made national headlines after collision in practice in 2012, caused a tear in his heart. he was discharged from the hospital a week later and was selected by then oakland raiders in the 2013 draft. the 33 year old also played for the lions, jaguars and washington. hundreds of people attended a one of a kind veteran's day ceremony and open house in danville. the open house included robots and student robotic demonstrations, along with a space themed pop up museum. the museum also featured military equipment and a helicopter, as well as a fighter jet cockpit from the uss hornet museum. the vice mayor says she was grateful to be joined by so many veterans with rich history at today's event. >> but mostly, we are so happy that we are able to put on

karina, we've got high pressure, as you can see, on the satellite radar, composite image controlling our weather for the weekend, bringing us fair skies. but there is active weather out to see moving in our direction, which will be moving in here next week. right now, though, looking out over the city from sutro tower, 61 degrees in san francisco. it's not often san francisco is the warmest location on the map. oakland 5655. mountain view, san jose, 60 and low 50s at palo alto and half moon bay. beautiful view from mt. tam looking down onto that shining city by the bay. although temperature readings right now low 50s at santa rosa novato, napa, concord and livermore mid 50s and 46 at fairfield. and the view from emeryville looking back toward san francisco. these are the forecast headlines mainly clear skies with a few high clouds overnight at high clouds will be with us tomorrow as well. but the skies will be bright with lots of sunshine and a very mild afternoon tomorrow. but a rainy week lies ahead tuesday through thursday, mainly overnight. low temperatures, mainly in the mid to upper 40s under a mainly moonlight and high clouds, sunshine and high clouds.
