means it's the first day commuters are dealing with lane closures and parking restrictions on san francisco city streets. they might also catch a glimpse of other activities like the aerial dancers who performed on the side of the transamerica pyramid that we showed you here this hour. although it's still not clear if this was because of apec. apec runs through friday. so the question is what have you noticed? liane, starting with you, obviously, as the week goes on, it may get worse, but i allowed extra time to get across the bay bridge today and whizzed in in record time. >> well, i have two words for you public transportation. and i took it this morning. it was great. and you know, being from new york city, i believe that public transportation is the great equalizer. and listen, you know, don't take a bus, don't take a muni bus. take the muni underground or bart, take my advice. it was so easy this morning. and, you know, you arrive at work happy and you come home relaxed. so you know who needs a therapist? leave the driving to somebody else. >> spencer, you came in from the

east bay. any problems for you? i had the same experience you had. >> dan i whizzed in in no time at all, even though, as you did, i gave myself extra time. didn't need it today. but if i'm going to be driving the rest of the week, i'm sure i will need it then. so maybe i'll take liane's advice and do public transportation. or i can borrow your helicopter. >> oh, yeah, sure. >> i'll swing by your house, pick you up. >> i will say i loved seeing the ferris wheel at fisherman's wharf and that i saw a lot of tour groups walking around. that's fun and exploring our beautiful city. so that was good. okay. the supreme court is adopting a new code of conduct. it's an attempt to improve public confidence in the high court. after months of headlines alleging some justices appear to have potential ethics violations, the new code is based on an existing code of conduct for lower courts. the justices didn't make clear how the code would be enforced, and they acknowledged they had more work to do should the court be allowed to write its own code? and leanne, you're one of the most ethical people i know. so i'm going to ask you.
4:43 pm
>> well, my response to that is finally, you know, i started studying the supreme court when i was in high school, and i thought they were god's gift to mankind, and especially when supreme court justice sonia sotomayor was nominated for the supreme court, that was one of the happiest moments in my life. but like so many of us, i think many people in this country have come to realize that they're not perfect, that they make mistakes as well. and really, there is no room for these people, these justices, to be unethical. in fact, they should have the word ethical stamped on their forehead. >> spencer well, i agree. the supreme court has always enjoyed a certain separation from the other branches, but that doesn't mean it's not shouldn't be accountable. and i think there should be some accountability and filing of information that relates to financial dealings and ethics. but who should write
4:44 pm
those rules? i don't know. well but i think certainly rules are warranted, given what's happened in the last few years, given some some lapses in ethics on the supreme court. >> all right. tesla cybertruck owners could face extreme penalties if they attempt to resell their new vehicle. while the electric car company says cybertruck owners cannot resell the truck in the first year to a third party. first year. if they do, they could be banned from purchasing a tesla vehicle ever again and could be fined at least 50,000 owners can only sell it back to tesla or receive written consent from the company to sell to a third party. i know what they're trying to do. spencer is prevent sort of their version of ticket scalping and control the cost. but i have mixed feelings about this. if i buy the truck and i decide six months later, i don't want it. it's a free country. >> that's how i feel in a nutshell right there. >> yeah. and if someone's willing to pay double the price, i guess that's on them, right?
4:45 pm
>> that's fine. and that doesn't, by the way, liane, that doesn't hurt them at the retail level. >> if it's more expensive on the secondary market to go in and buy a tesla from the dealership, that doesn't hurt the dealership. >> yeah. and you know, my advice to you know, elon musk is well, have it your way, have it your way, because those trucks are are really ugly. and i am not going to buy one. so there you go. end of story, period. full stop. >> mike, drop some younger people think they're cool looking. i agree, leanne. i think they're hideous. >> i agree. the most attractive vehicles i've ever seen. >> all right. so everybody is out for even buying it from tesla or re buying, right? okay we're good to go. thanksgiving is just ten days away, and today we're getting a first look at what experts predict holiday travel will look like. here's a hint. it will be busy. abc7 news reporter zach fuentes has the details. >> millions are just days away from taking off for holiday travel. experts at triple a just released its 2023 thanksgiving travel forecast and it reveals a lot of information that could impact travelers over 55 million
