is america for this morning. good friday morning, everyone. i'm andrea ge in for rihanna. >> and i'm lionel moise in for andrew. we begin this morning with new details about how israeli troops are targeting hamas destroying the terror group's network of underground tunnels. >> we're learning how they've used liquid explosives in their assault. we're also seeing a new evidence after israeli troops raided the largest hospital in gaza. >> and overnight, israeli forces say they found the body of another hostage, 19 year old noah marciano. they say her body was found near that hospital. abc's justin finch has the latest, beginning with the scene at the hospital. justin good morning. >> good morning, lionel. israel is promising to reveal more evidence proving that hamas use hospitals for military purposes. this morning, video released by israel's military appears to show a tunnel entrance at al-shifa hospital, apparently supporting claims that hamas has been using a network of tunnels

beneath the largest medical facility in gaza. >> and this is where they choose to hide everything because they know the idf won't attack the air force won't attack here. >> israeli troops say they're targeting hundreds of miles of tunnels across gaza, destroying at least 50% of the shafts since the start of the war. using a gel like explosive which gets pumped into the tunnels with a hose and is then set off with the detonator back at al-shifa hospital, israel also says troops found a truck containing a large number of weapons. >> we found a vehicle filled with ammunition and rpgs, ak 47 seconds. we see handcuffs, knives, preparation for taking hostages from israel. >> hamas denies using hospitals for military command centers, but israel says troops found laptops at al-shifa containing images of hostages taken by hamas during the october 7th attack. sources say a deal to release dozens of those hostages

is less likely now than it was earlier this week. >> the main sticking point continues to be the number of hostages. israel wants 80 released. all of the women and the children and their family members. hamas, we're told, is pressing for fewer than 50. >> meanwhile, all the future of gaza is very much uncertain. prime minister benjamin netanyahu has said israel will remain in control of gaza for an indefinite period. but last night us secretary of state antony blinken told abc's david muir gaza's future must be left in palestinian hands. we've been very clear that there can't be a reoccupation by israel of gaza, just as gaza can't continue to be used as a platform to launch terrorist attacks. >> have you told the prime minister that you don't agree with this? yes yes, we have. >> and a former israeli intelligence official says the main phase of israel's current ground operation in gaza is likely to continue until january. lionel

morning, the head of the house ethics committee is expected to file a resolution to expel new york republican jorge santos from congress after an ethics report found substantial evidence that santos violated federal law. >> is your plan to fully serve, stay in congress, not resign? >> like i've said before, i'm staying in office for sure. >> the report found santos sought to fraudulently exploit every aspect of his house candidacy for his own personal financial profit. santos allegedly used thousands of dollars in campaign funds on botox trips to atlantic city and even to pay his own rent making purchases at irmas cifas and on the website. only fans known for its adult content. and while he was allegedly on a spending spree, his own campaign was in debt. one staffer went eight months without getting paid. congressman, did you misuse campaign finances? santos facing 23 federal charges dismissed this the bipartisan report as a

political smear. but more of his fellow republicans say they want him gone. >> jorge santos is a fraud. he should not be a member of congress. >> santos now says he will not run for reelection, but ousting him from the house where the republican majority remains slim , will require a two thirds vote. that vote is expected soon after the thanksgiving break. santos could become the first member of congress expelled since 2002 and the first ever republican to be expelled from the house. >> a new move to ease concerns about the respiratory illness rsv among infants. the cdc is releasing 77,000 more doses of vaccine to doctors offices and hospitals nationwide. the shots have been in short supply since they were approved back in august. up to 80,000 kids under age five are hospital ized with rsv every year, and cases are rising. >> the fda is expanding its recall of eye drops due to unsanitary conditions at production facilities. 27 brands, including cvs, health

target, walmart and rite aid, all a part of this recall. the affected products have expiration dates between this month and september 2025. we have a complete list on abc news .com. >> new details about the death of a mississippi man dexter wade allegedly at the hands of police. his family says they were left in the dark for months. now they claim they have evidence of what they say is a police cover up. here's abc's derrick dennis us this morning new claims of a police cover up in the death of 37 year old dexter wade in jackson, mississippi. >> initial findings from a forensic pathologist hired by his family show he was run over by a police vehicle and severely beaten before he was buried in an unmarked grave. now his family claims wade's wallet with his id was still in his front pocket, buried with him. >> so me right now, i'm hoping i can get to some kind of answer to why it happened and what was the reason that it happened.

>> wade's mother spoke to abc's linsey davis this week, saying police gave her few answers after she first reported her son missing last march. she says police kept telling her they couldn't find him. >> nobody never willing to take the responsibility of what happened. >> turns out the county coroner buried wade in july in this grave numbered 672, saying police failed to identify the body. but just recently, wade's body was exhumed and his family says his id was with him at the time of his death. the family's lawyer, ben crump, saying the fact that dexter had a state identification card and several other identifying items shows us that there was a concerted effort to keep the truth and manner of his death from his family. >> he was a loving person and he didn't deserve he did not deserve this kind of treatment. >> the mayor of jackson previously acknowledged a lack of communication during the months long investigation, but wade's family is now asking the justice department to get

abuse. pockets full of dough shake and feathers to the morning this morning, shocking allegations against rapper and producer sean diddy combs, sued by his former partner, r&b singer cassie, who accuses combs of rape and repeated physical abuse. cassie, whose real name is cassandra ventura, claims shortly after meeting combs when she was 19, he began drugging her, beating her and forcing her to have sex with male prostitute suits. according to the suit, she also claims near the end of their relationship in 2018, combs forced his way into her home and raped her. in a statement, ventura saying after years in silence and darkness, i am finally ready to tell my story. combs denies the allegations. his lawyer calls the claims a offensive and outrageous, adding for the past six months, mr. combs has been subjected to ms. ventura's persistent demand of $30 million

under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship. >> this case is unusual because at this point, we have not typically heard these type of accusations surrounding diddy. >> ventura claims combs pushed her into a car, kicked her in the face multiple times, and in 2012, she claims combs got so angry that she was dating rapper kid cudi that he threatened to blow up the rapper's car. around that time, the lawsuit claims kid cut his car, exploded in his driveway. combs recently appeared on jimmy kimmel discussing how he had changed his middle name to love. >> i changed my name to sean love combs. i am love. hey, speaking of love, this is love. >> the next steps in this particular case are really going to be the discovery process. >> what we're also going to see the answer an answer has to come to a complaint. so we'll see diddy side of the story. >> the lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.

students have reported anti-semitism or islamophobia in recent weeks. at least two schools have already said they're cooperating with the investigation. the schools could risk losing federal funding depending on how they respond to results of the probe. many students at those schools are on tiktok, where this week anti-semitic ism was amplified as a decades old letter written by osama bin laden explaining the nine divided by 11 attacks went viral with some users expressing sympathy with bin laden's views, not only is that offensive to the jews because he talks a lot about the jews, how do you think families feel where their families were impacted on 9/11? tiktok now remove videos referencing the bin laden letter saying content promoting this letter clearly violates our rules, adding the company is aggressive, removing the content and investigating how it got on to our platform. dozens of jewish tiktok creators and celebrities have now signed a letter urging the company to address anti semitism and harassment. montana tucker, an

activist and influencer, says comments on her tiktok account have been filled with anti-semitic comments since the start of the war. >> nowadays, people are getting their information from tiktok, from social media. so we need to find a way to be able to get accurate information out there, to have messages at the bottom of these videos saying this is not a confirmed source. >> meanwhile, over on x, formerly known as twitter, ibm has pulled its ads off the platform, concerned about content. in response, the ceo of x says the platform has been extremely clear about our effort to combat anti semitism and discrimination. there's no place for it anywhere in the world. and back to tiktok, the company called a meeting with those influence censors and celebrities to discuss the issue and says it's being proactive in addressing the concerns in sports. >> michigan football coach jim harbaugh is accepting a three game suspension in connection with a sign stealing scandal. as a result, the big ten conference is closing its investigation on the ncaa investigation
