solutions. this is abc seven news. >> the fragile ceasefire between israel and hamas is holding today. the first american hostage is now headed home. a four year old girl who marked her birthday while being held by hamas. good evening and thanks for joining us. i'm diane lim. that little girl's parents were both killed in that october seventh hamas attack inside israel. we have team coverage of the latest hostage release starting with abc news reporter matt gutman. in 17 additional hostages held by hamas in gaza for the past 51 days released on sunday, 14 israelis and three foreign nationals was among those freed. >> abigail adan, who turned four on friday. her parents were murdered on october 7th during that hamas attack. the white house says she is the first american hostage to be released. >> she's now safely in israel. and we continue to press and expect for additional americans will be released as well. also on sunday, hagar bowditch and her three children, ten year old

ofri, eight year old yuval and four year old uriah and 84 year old ama avraham airlift her to a hospital upon her release. >> since the four day cease fire began, 58 hostages have been freed by hamas 24. on friday, 13 israelis and 11 foreign nationals. then on saturday, 17 more, including 13 israelis and four thai nationals. several children were among those released saturday, including nine year old irish israeli emily hand finally back in her father's arms. saturday's release was initially delayed. hamas militants accusing israel of violating the terms of the cease fire agreement by not allowing enough aid trucks to enter northern gaza. the idf disputing that claim, saying nearly 200 humanitarian trucks entered gaza on saturday via the rafah crossing, with more than 200 today. president biden says the us will continue to work to extend the pause in fighting. >> that's my goal. that's our goal to keep this pause going beyond tomorrow so that we can continue to see more hostages come out and surge more humanitarian relief into into

news police in burlington, vermont are looking for the person who opened fire on three palestinian students. all three victims remain in the hospital tonight, one with very serious injuries. investigators say the incident happened near the university of vermont campus last night and they say the victims were confronted by a man who fired four shots, then ran away. the motive is still unclear, but burlington's police chief says it may be a hate crime. two of the victims were wearing traditional middle eastern scarves. the chief says two of the victims are us citizens and the third is a legal resident at the five year old swept into the ocean at martins beach yesterday, has died. that is according to the coast guard. the girl was with a man at the beach when a wave swept them into the water. firefighters were able to pull her out and she was airlifted to stanford medical center, where she was later pronounced deceased. the man is still missing, but the search for him

moving. that's the good news. thousands of commuters are making their way home after a long holiday weekend. thanksgiving weekend included a road trip for about 55 million americans. that is according to triple-a. meanwhile at the airports, the tsa says today is the busiest travel day across the country. officials expect nearly 3 million people to fly to end the weekend, but so far, no reports of major delays at any of the bay area's major airports. an estimated 182 million people are shopping in store and online from thanksgiving day through tomorrow for cyber monday. you can score deals, but it's also a time you should be extra vigilant online. according to cyber security firm trend micro, california sees 24% of all black

friday scams nationwide. abc7 stephanie sierra spoke to the company's vice president of threat intelligence. >> your company also has a warning about free shipping on some black friday sites. what can you tell us about that? >> yeah, shipping scams are big, so a lot of times they'll either offer free shipping or what more likely will happen is you'll get a text message from one of the carrier saying your your item needs to be is in the warehouse, but it needs a checking. so they ask you to log in and give your email address and some other personal information and that's how they get your data. and then they can use use that to do, you know, any types of scams against you, your company has also listed a number of examples of sites selling merchandise and even liquor. >> one of them, hard daddy, is unaccredited with the better business bureau and currently has an f rating. what do you know about this site? >> yeah, this is what most consumers are going to have to deal with. stephanie hard daddy is one that looks very real. the

pictures that they pose are all actual pictures from other sites that are selling the actual product. and so when you pick a pick a product, you go through the same all the same processes. you go through the checkout, they try to take all of your information. they'll ask for your name, phone number, your address, credit card information, and then they just scam you. sometimes you might get a product that's a knockoff of what you thought you were buying or it could they just don't even ship anything or they ship something that's not even related to what you bought. and if you try to contact them, there's nowhere to get any information about how to contact them. so it's really a big scam site. and this is the type of sites we see all over the web now. yeah so frustrating. >> and it can certainly be hard to tell. and it's not just those merchandise sites, but with travel tuesday coming up, consumers often rely on companies like booking.com or airbnb to schedule travel and hotel accommodations. what advice do you have for those who are planning ahead?

>> yeah, i think first and foremost, go to those sites directly. don't use click a link on an email or a or a text message that you receive. in many cases, these these text messages or emails are going to take you to a fraudulent site that looks exactly like airbnb or booking.com. and again, what they're trying to do is take take information from you. have you enter information. sometimes it's to get if you have an account with those companies, they want to get your account so that they can take over your account and do things with that as well. >> we understand your company's data shows california gets the most icloud phishing scams. what are some examples of that and why do you think that is? >> and the scammers want that data. they want to steal that data. so what they end up doing is, again, they they they will send you a text message that says, hey, your icloud is full. so to add more, you know, click here. and again, it takes you to a login page. so it's trying to get your login credentials for your icloud account and then they can use that or they can

our satellite. read our composite image. high pressure which had been in control of our weather for the last several days, bringing us mainly clear skies, is moving out now and clouds and unsettle weather will be moving in from our west and northwest. the wind is calm right now. the sky is still mainly clear. so temperatures will be dropping rather rapidly during the evening hours. right now, we're looking at 60 degrees in san francisco, but only upper 50s in oakland, mountain view, san jose and half moon bay, palo alto down to 52 degrees right now. here's a view from mount tam looking down into the bay. we still have relatively clear skies with a few high clouds around temperatures are in the upper 50s right now at santa rosa, napa and concord, mid 50 at novato, fairfield and livermore. and then we go to this cognac colored western sky, the post sunset skies. beautiful as we take a look from the east bay hills camera. these are our forecast headlines. frost and freezing inland again overnight mostly sunny and seasonably cool tomorrow with chances of rain developing from time to time from late tuesday into friday. and of course, i mentioned the cold weather frosted advisory is in effect for the north bay

valleys. once again from 10:00 tonight to 9:00 tomorrow morning. temperatures will drop as low as 33 degrees up in the north bay valleys. and over in the fairfield, suisun area, a freeze warning will be in effect where temperatures will likely drop below 30 degrees in some spots. so here in the bay area, look for lows of 31 at santa rosa tonight, 33 at vallejo, fairfield, 31 over in the inland east bay, mid 30s at livermore and concord down in the south bay 40 at morgan hill, mainly low 40s around the bay shoreline and we have a coastal flood advisory or will have in effect again tomorrow morning from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. for the bay shoreline and the north bay shoreline. we're talking about minor localized flooding, but still be aware of that. highs tomorrow mainly in the mid 60s on the coast and near the bay. low 60s inland. and here's the accuweather seven day forecast. i mentioned unsettled weather coming our way this week midweek. well, starting late tuesday, there's a chance of rain then going into wednesday, a greater chance of rain. so
