a key financial donor. but haley's campaign is responding by insisting they are not giving up the fight against former president trump. >> abc's perry russom is here with the latest perry. good morning. >> well good morning. after a 20 point loss in her home state this weekend, nikki haley is trying to rally support in michigan. but last night, her campaign suffered a new financial setback. this morning, a new challenge for nikki haley after losing the primary in her home state of south carolina to former president trump. she's now losing a top donor. americans for prosperity and action, an organization backed by billionaire charles koch, says it will no longer donate to haley. a spokesman saying we don't believe any outside group can make a material difference. to widen her path to victory, donald trump is telling you that you have to choose between whether we prevent war around the world or whether we secure our border. >> i promise you, our best days are yet to come. >> haley is vowing to stay in the race at least until super tuesday.

benjamin netanyahu is promising his forces will invade the gaza city of rafah. the only question now is when that yahoo says the move into rafah, where hundreds of thousands of refugees have sought shelter, may only be delayed by a possible cease fire agreement. israel has agreed to the basics of a deal, including a six week cease fire. if hamas releases 40 hostages, but no word yet from hamas. hundreds of people gathered in tulsa, oklahoma, for a candlelight vigil to honor the life of nbc's benedict. >> the 16 year old, who identified as non binary, died one day after a fight at school. surveillance video shows nicks walking into the girls bathroom, a faculty member soon follows and the fight is broken up. police have also released body camera video of next in the hospital. speaking with police about the fight, they say came at me. >> they grabbed on my hair, i grabbed onto them. i threw one of them into a paper towel dispenser and then they got my legs out from under me and got me on the ground, started beating me. >> it's unclear if or how the

fight contributed to nick's death. the cause of death has yet to be determined, but in early autopsy found it was not a result of trauma. we turn now to the supreme court hearing two cases today that could determine the future of what we see on social media. >> at issue is whether states can limit how tech companies remove content on their platforms, a process some critics claim is censorship. here's abc's derek dennis. >> this morning, a crucial question takes center stage at the supreme court. how far can the government go in regulating political content on social media? the justices will hear arguments today about whether two laws passed in republican run states are constitutional one from florida, the other from texas. the florida law bans tech companies from suspending the accounts of political candidates. the texas law makes it illegal for tech companies to remove political content based on someone's viewpoint, even if it's hate speech supporters of these laws say social media platforms have been censoring users, especially those with

conservative or religious views. but tech companies argue they have a right under the first amendment to set their own standards to prevent misinformation on its about government, in this case, republican government forcing a private platform to say something it doesn't want to say. >> it will be like the government going in to chipotle and telling them that they have to serve hamburgers, because people want hamburgers. >> restaurants don't have expressive right to exclude black people or jewish people from their from their restaurants because they want to make a point. similarly, the platforms which are which again, are the supreme court has called our public square can't exclude people they don't like to make some obscure and not quite clear expressive point. >> both laws would allow tech companies to be sued for violations. the lawmakers in florida and texas say they're trying to regulate the business actions of tech companies, not their freedom of speech. this case could have far reaching implications from what you see

about the presidential election to even how spam is regulated, the justices are expected to issue a ruling by this summer. andrew andrea, derek, thank you. >> in illinois, judge has been removed from the bench after a controversial decision to reverse a rape conviction. a state commission removed robert adrian, citing misconduct and abuse of power. adrian refused to impose a mandatory sentence on an 18 year old man convicted of attacking a girl, saying the punishment was not just. he also said the time the man served in jail was punishment enough. adrian says his removal from the bench is a miscarriage of justice. >> at&t has apologized for last week's network outage and it's now offering customers a $5 credit for their trouble. a coding error is blamed for knocking out service for 12 hours thursday. the $5 will be issued as an account credit within the next two billing cycles. business customers, people with prepaid plans and cricket wireless customers will not be eligible for the credit. >> time now for your monday weather

this week, gma's got the answers . >> we're back with the measles outbreak growing in florida, the two newest cases are children under nine in the fort lauderdale area, eight cases have now been reported in broward county. florida's surgeon general is facing criticism for allowing parents of unvaccinated children to decide whether or not to send their kids to school. the cdc recommends unvaccinated kids be kept home for three weeks after a case is diagnosed. >> major developments this morning in the murders of two college students on separate campuses. as the disturbing cases come just days after a double murder at another university. this morning, multiple college communities across the country are searching for answers after four shocking murders on university campuses. >> whether it's the suspect's family or the victim's family, there's no winners at campbellsville university in kentucky, 18 year old josiah kilman was found dead in his dorm room saturday. >> police quickly focused on fellow student charles escalera,

who was arrested after reportedly hiding in a local farmer's barn. >> he had located a male in his in his barn while he was feeding, which he then returned, called greene county sheriff's department and they contacted state police. >> escalera now faces murder and burglary charges, but police have not provided a motive in the case and the cause of coleman's death has not been released. a school spokesperson confirms kilman and escalera were both on the school's wrestling team. >> this court is not authorized under georgia law to set bond in light of these charges. >> meanwhile, the murder of a nursing student has rocked two college campuses in georgia 26 year old jose ibarra is charged in the killing of lake and riley , a student at augusta university. the 22 year old's body was found last week in a wooded area on the nearby campus of the university of georgia, after she failed to return from a morning jog. police called the killing a crime of opportunity. >> investigation suggests that they had no relationship. uh, he

did not know her at all. >> abc news has learned. ibarra had been arrested in 2022 after entering the u.s. illegally from venezuela. immigration authorities say he was released for further processing. ibarra resurfaced in new york city last year, where police arrested him for a nonviolent crime driving an unregistered car with a child inside. but federal officials say the authorities in new york released ibarra before federal agents were able to detain him. this case and this weekend's murder in kentucky followed two killings at the university of colorado this month. nicholas jordan is charged in the shooting deaths of his roommate and a friend. police not yet revealing a motive in that case. back to the murder at campbellsville university. multiple local news outlets report. kilman died by manual, strangled, citing the coroner. the school's president says the wrestling team is devastated by his death. >> a texas man is facing possible prison time for eavesdropping on his wife, who's an executive at bp. he's accused of insider trading, the sec

party is done? in winston-salem this morning, a new push to ban storming the court after this college basketball star was injured after the game, kyle filipowski is being helped off by members of the duke staff. unranked wake forest pulled off an upset win at home against duke saturday, prompting dozens of fans to rush onto the court. one then collided with duke center kyle filipowski. he was invisible, pain as his teammates and coach ran to help him off the court. >> when are we going to ban court storming filipowski claims he was hit intentionally, saying he was even punched in the back. >> both teams coaches say something needs to be done. >> i don't like court storming. they just don't feel safe. >> just last month, a fan rushing the court collided with women's basketball star caitlin clark. she was helped off the court by security. >> fans do not belong on the court ever, ever. and players don't belong in the stands. when somebody gets hurt, we're going to get serious about it. >> serious injuries have resulted back in 2004, joe kay, a high school basketball star in
