somewhere. to be continued. >> looking for a cow? well, here's a look at what's going on with our weather. we've got some heat coming our way. well, it started today, actually, but tomorrow especially, we have a heat advisory that will be in effect from 11 a.m. tomorrow to 8 p.m. tuesday for the east bay hills and east bay valleys. and from 11 a.m. tomorrow to 8 p.m. tomorrow night for the santa cruz mountains and the santa clara valley. high temperatures 95 to 100 degrees. obviously, under those conditions, there's an increased risk of heat related illness, and you can see how hot it's going to be tomorrow. high temperatures up to 100 degrees in the hottest inland spots, up to 90. and even above around the bay. here's the accuweather seven day forecast. it will be not much less hot than that on tuesday. i don't want to say cooler. so two days of pretty intense heat for fall, but then temperatures drop into a much more comfortable range and a much more seasonal range by midweek. >> technically, you are right. a little cooler. >> that's right. yeah, it's a little cooler. and less hot. yeah. >> let's get to chris once again with another preview of sports. hi, chris. >> hi, dion. coming up in

grow the system, exploit the system. take mark farrell's record. after receiving the largest ethics fine in city history for breaking campaign laws. mark authorized a commission almost every year he was in office. he was even caught taking donations from people he would then appoint to commissions, including a felon convicted of bribery. san francisco's challenges demand urgency, not more of the same failed insiders.

an opening win against the jets just 13 days ago. things feel a lot different for the defending nfc champion. 49 ers injuries to some of their top players christian mccaffrey, deebo samuel, george kittle and with today's loss in la a one and two record after three games jauan jennings had himself a career day. number 15 was brock purdy's favorite target on a day they needed an offensive spark. jaynes had 11 catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns. ran right through the tunnel there by our cameraman abe. and then this catch was just unbelievable right here in traffic. he got i. becomes the first 40 niners receiver with three touchdowns in a game since terrell owens

back in 2001. >> he's a dog man. uh- absolutely love jajuan, it's the way he comes in every day and then brings energy to our offense, man, with some huge plays and sparks energy and just his love for the game. man. you can see it and you feel it when you're on the field with him. so, absolutely love that guy. i'll go to war with him any day of the week. jajuan was unbelievable. i mean, i think the numbers show it, but more than the numbers just, he was he was a warrior the whole game. he's always like that. got a lot more opportunities today and was automatic on every single one. and even some bad looks when i didn't know if the ball should go there, it. you quickly saw after it that they weren't they weren't going to take that away from jajuan. and he was very inspiring today how he played. >> the niners had plenty of chances to win this game, but a handful of missed opportunities proved costly. second quarter rams run the fake punt, and that led to la's first score. and it was a 14 seven game at the half. and in the fourth, jake moody had a chance to extend the lead to ten, but missed a 55 yarder.

plenty of distance but wide lef. and even nick bosa can't understand how that didn't go in. rams respond with a td on the ensuing drive, and the 40 niners drop six passes today. none bigger than this ronnie bell drop, which really, in all likelihood would have gave the niners a chance to extend the drive and potentially kick a game winning field goal. instead, the niners drop their second game in a row, 2724. >> we had a number of times in the game we had. we had opportunities to run away with it, especially early in the game. having that 14 point lead and they hadn't really moved the ball on our d and starting with that fake punt, you know, it was just a momentum in the game. that's where i thought we had a chance to run away with it, not give them any hope. and that gave them a lot of hope. got them back in it and obviously would love to make that field goal. >> situationally, it sucks that it had to happen, you know, at that point. >> but you know, i gave it, you know, my best kick. >> and it's not like i wasn't prepared for the moment or anything like i felt really prepared and felt really confident. just happened to miss a little left. >> this this loss comes from

being too complacent. you know, we was up what, 14 zero? we should have put them away. gave them hope and they was able to come back and win the game. so i think this got us a lot to do with finishing. monday night fol doubleheader. we've got the nightcap catch after the game, following the conclusion of commanders bengals right here on abc seven tomorrow night, central valley native and fresno state's own aaron judge close out his oakland coliseum career in style. the yankees slugger hit home runs number 54 and 55 over the weekend. judge leads the mlb in that department, has an outside shot at 60 homers if he gets on another hot streak, which he has done before. judge already nostalgic about his last trip to oakland, saying he's looking forward to telling his future kids he used to play here. >> it'll be a little different. but i can't wait to tell my kids, you know, this will probably be one of those retro stadiums in mlb. the show. i'll tell them i played here, so that'll be pretty cool. but they got a great fan base. you know, community always comes out and
