[ cheering ] dare i say one of the two greatest mookies in baseball history. that's right. the postseason is about to begin. i watched the mets play their way into the wild card game today. they were down, they were up, then down again, then up -- it was excruciating. i don't know if i can handle the mets in the post-season and an election at the same time. it might actually kill me. if i suddenly go, that was why. you know, there are amazing things happening all around us. all the time. yesterday, the earth, our planet

got a second moon. they're calling it a "mini moon." it's an asteroid circling the main moon. the moon we know. it will be with us in earth's gravity for about two months before heading back out to space. it's a little bit hard to follow. so, we came up with a demonstration that i hope will make it clear. imagine that i am the earth and guillermo is my moon. guillermo, would you mind orbiting me? [ cheering ] so, this is the earth-moon relationship we're used to. but now that we have a mini moon, for a limited time only, it looks like this. [ cheering ] trump was in tuscaloosa saturday to take in the alabama-georgia football game. here he is, doing something that regular people do all the time, totally normal, throwing food at people behind a fence. oh, here's a finger finger for you. he treats people the same way they feed dolphins at sea world. there you go. the king tossing bread to the peasants. alabama won the game 41 to 34. but trump called the head coach of georgia today and asked him to find another 8 points. so we'll see. trump was joined at the game in his luxury box by georgia legend and human paternity suit

herschel walker. they were keeping an eye on what he ordered for lunch. he ordered for himself two fillet-o-fish sandwich, some hot dogs, a domino's pizza and a diet coke. he's on the "never see your penis again" diet. that is not a food order. that's an assassination attempt. it should be reported to the fbi. gorge washington was also in michigan over the weekend, where you know how he's been calling on democrats to dial down the rhetoric? i guess that only applies to them. >> kamala is mentally impaired. joe biden became mentally impaired. kamala was born that way. she was born that way. and if you think about it, only a mentally disabled person could have allowed this to happen to our country. anybody would know this. >> jimmy: what a lovely individual he is. you'd think he would be more sensitive considering he has two sons who are mentally impaired. but he really is -- i have to

say, i think he is quailing right now. he said so much crazy stuff this weekend. he said he wanted to close the department of education. he again claimed he won the debate by a lot. he threatened to prosecute google because he believes they show bad search results about him. he said the people you see leaving his rallies, it looks like they're leaving, but they're not really leaving. he complained that fox news shouldn't be allowed to show his opponent kamala harris speaking. he rambled more about kamala not working at mcdonald's. he referred to migrants as animals. suggested that the way to end crime would be to have one really violent day, one rough hour that would solve everything, like "the purge" and so much more. if anyone in your life had a weekend like this, you'd be concerned. like if your dad had a series of outbursts like this, you'd call your siblings to figure out what to do. and every time he goes too far, republicans say, you know, i just wish he would stick to policy. well, he doesn't.

he never has and he never will. he doesn't care about policy. [ applause ] he cares about -- he cares about how unfairly he's treated and why hairspray sucks, and the mar-a-lago showerheads. that's what he cares about. we're five weeks out from the election, and trump is talking about this. >> they have a phone app so that people can come into our country. these are smart immigrants, i guess, because most people don't have any idea what a phone app is. >> jimmy: i feel like we do. i feel like we have a pretty good -- you have to understand to trump, an app is the mozzarella sticks he eats before he eats the other mozzarella sticks. and these comments, by the way, they aren't written out for him. they're all off the cuff. >> why didn't she do it? she's been here almost four years. i'm going do this. i'm going to do that, reading off a teleprompter. isn't it nice to have a president that doesn't need a teleprompter? >> jimmy: let's go ahead and

cir circle. only donald trump would say he doesn't need a teleprompter while reading off two teleprompters. or maybe those are sneeze guards he bought when the sizzler in palm beach went out of business. and then, for the large community of blue-collar workers in erie, pennsylvania, he shared this charming and relatable nugget. >> i know a about i hated to give overtime. i shouldn't say this. i'd get other people in. i hated it. >> jimmy: and don't get me started on maternity leave. that's why he's so beloved by the middle-class. the only thing he hated more than paying his employees overtime was paying his employees at all. and trump now isn't -- this has become a thing now in the republican party. in virginia, a congressional candidate named derrick anderson, i guess he wanted to fit in with the j.d. vance approved model of a family values candidate, but since he doesn't have a wife and kids, his campaign has been

sending out photos of derrick with a woman and three girls who are not members of his family. that is his friend's wife and their kids. he asked his friend to borrow his wife and kids for the photo. which much have been a comfortable conversation. "we'll just pretend you died. it will be fine." then we have another family man, the self-proclaimed black nazi mark robinson, who somehow is running for governor of south carolina despite allegations of the salacious and racist posts he made on a and racist posts he made on a porn website called "nude africa." and that campaign is going great. >> robinson suffered second-degree burns. robinson says he was burned while grabbing the exhaust pipe of a big truck while campaigning in mount airy. >> jimmy: that's what happens when you try to smoke a truck.

tomorrow night, in new york, the first and only debate between tim walz and j.d. vance. this will be the first vice presidential debate since 2008, in which the candidates will stand instead of sit. i guess they were worried j.d. vance might get distracted bay sexy office chair and begin humping a bunch. cbs news is hosting the debate. they announced friday that it will be up to the candidates to fact-check themselves. what will the moderators be doing? the wordle? i don't know. recent polls show tim walz with significantly higher favorability numbers than his opponent. voters were more likely to describe walz as honest, trustworthy and caring. where they were more likely to describe vance as nervous, unsettling and damp. but i disagree. when i see j.d. vance, i see a guy who is grounded, rational and so humanlike. you can barely tell he isn't. >> when i was in law school, i met this person that i thought was the most beautiful, most lovely, smartest, kindest human

song you had written? >> i did on the radio. ♪ on the radio ♪ i can still do it. i got to meet a lot of my idols like that back in the day. but it was for me it was all about the outfit, you know what i mean? >> jimmy: you make your outfits. did you make it then? >> at that time, me and my mom made this dress. i was a super fan of the sound of music when i was younger. and there is the dress that she wears when she gets to meet the children for the first time when she is coming. she is a nun and she shows up with this dress. and that's the ugliest dress i've ever seen. and i made that dress. >> jimmy: so as a kid you looked at that ugliest dress you'd ever seen and that dress is awesome. i want one. >> to me it was the coolest dress i had ever seen. yeah. >> jimmy: you have a kind of von trapp feel to the band. what was the band called, the ska band? >> that version of the band was called apple core. >> jimmy: apple core. >> really cool. >> jimmy: like the fruit or like a military marine corps?

america to get it all done. >> jimmy: i feel like maybe he didn't want to go. >> i think you're right. i feel like you're right. >> jimmy: did he have fun there? >> well, i'd been threatening him for nine years, i'm taking you, i'm taking you, i'm taking you. and then it was his birthday. it was my oldest's 18th birthday, my other's 16th birthday. we're going, right. we're going to die. if we don't go now, we have to get it done. so i planned. it took a year to plan it. i've never gone on a vacation like that ever. you always want to be home if you travel, you know what i'm saying? and there is never any time. and i didn't even know what i was doing. but it was really over the top. like every day was okay, at the lobby at 10:00 a.m., and your guide will be there to tell you about the latest whatever history that's been happening. and this was like the bike ride that we were going to go through the famous park. and we got on the bikes, and my youngest had never been on an e-bike, you know. and we just have to get through the city to get to the park. and this guy is like put your

helmet on. he was very strict about the whole instructions. >> jimmy: yeah, yeah, because they drive crazy there. >> and it was literally like being in new york city. it was so busy on the bikes. and so my little one freaked out. they were on the bikes i think maybe not even five minutes and they got that photo. i was in a lot of trouble. >> jimmy: lucky blake. >> a lot of trouble. >> jimmy: did he like the trip, though? >> we had so much fun. we -- for me it was like -- if i did it again, i would definitely do less stuff, you know what i mean? okay. we're going stay here for a while. >> jimmy: do you think he will do one again? >> he better, yes. >> jimmy: right. >> we had a lot of fun. we went to the little town where supposedly my grandpa was from. that was the funnest thing that we did. >> jimmy: did they know you were coming? >> no. but i found a sign that said stefani. it was a funeral sign. like a funeral home. but i have a picture in front of it. maybe he really did grow up here. anyways. >> jimmy: that's exciting. and you know what?
