one program is hoping it's able to do that by keeping track of where rvs are parked. abc seven news south bay reporter zach fuentes joins us live from san jose with how the program works and why some think this could make the problem worse. >> yeah, the program is tracking not just where, but how many rvs are parked in the city so that tow away zones can be identified. now, san jose mayor matt mehan says this is about keeping streets safe, clean and accessible. critics, though, wonder what will happen to the people living in rvs, where they'll go next. now, city staff inventoried and put data on a map that residents can access, and that work found that more than 900 oversize vehicles are likely occupied. so that information is going to be used to identify which areas of the city are impacted most. and then starting in 2025, the city would establish ten permanent towaway zones and 30 temporary towaway zones. the city says the hope is that those areas can be cleaned up while the vehicles are cleared. mayor mehan said laws have to be enforced. advocates
