winding down now. we have a few sprinkles out there, but the rainfall totals won't amount to much. and we're looking at relatively calm wind right now. wind speeds all across the region are generally under ten miles per hour, except way up north at north at ukiah, where we have some gusts to 17mph. and notice how much warmer it is right now than 24 hours ago. 14 degrees warmer in novato and in fairfield at 5 to 7 degrees warmer in just about all other locations. here's a view from the exploratorium camera looking across the bay toward the bay bridge. 54 degrees right now in san francisco. we have upper 50s at oakland, hayward and redwood city 61, san jose at 52 at half moon bay. nice view from emeryville. you will see a few clouds off in the distance there, but skies are beginning to clear a little bit. we have mid 50s right now in santa rosa, petaluma, napa, upper 50s at fairfield, concord and livermore, and these are our forecast headlines tonight. just a few isolated showers. rainfall totals. additional totals will be maybe 1 or 2 hundredths of an inch. tomorrow and tuesday bright and breezy conditions. but wednesday through saturday,
6:19 pm
that atmospheric river we've been talking about will start flowing and we expect rain for several consecutive days with the heaviest rain initially being in the north bay. what's left of our current storm, though, will just be a few scattered or isolated showers tonight. and again, rainfall totals. additional totals will be maybe one two hundredths of an inch. it'll all be out of here by about 11:00 tonight, except for a few trailing showers that will move down along the coastline, but are not likely to move onshore and produce any significant wet weather. so again, just a few hundredths of an inch of additional rainfall totals expected. overnight lows will be pretty chilly up in the north bay, where they'll drop down to 34 at santa rosa, 38 at napa. many of our inland areas, especially up north, will be quite chilly, while the remainder of the bay area will see low temperatures, mainly in the low to mid 40s and highs tomorrow under sunny skies right around or just below 60 degrees. now, looking ahead at the long term forecast animation starting tomorrow night. by wednesday night. wednesday morning rather. we'll see
6:20 pm
this next wave of rainfall coming in late tuesday night early wednesday morning. and that will produce very wet weather, mainly for the north bay for wednesday and thursday, although some of that rain will reach other parts of the bay area. but then on friday, more widespread rain develops, possibly even heavier rain friday into saturday with a little bit of a break followed by yet more rain coming in on sunday. so we've got some wet weather ahead and the rainfall estimates for that 4 or 5 day period show that up in the north bay especially, we may see anywhere from 5 to 7in of rainfall. here's the accuweather seven day forecast. so dry conditions tomorrow. increasing clouds tuesday and wednesday through saturday and into sunday. we expect level one storms at least, possibly a little stronger towards the end of the week. but right now we'll be conservative and just say level ones. >> welcome to sports for me right now. dry. levi's stadium with a 40 niners and seahawks battling in a game, fighting for. playoff position. the niners had no george kittle today.
