>> thanks for joining us tonight. blake lively, an a-list star and one half of one of hollywood's biggest power couples, alongside husband ryan reynolds, the mother of four now coming forward alleging she was sexually harassed by her director and costar, which he denies. blake lively shocking hollywood with a new, explosive legal complaint about what she says was happening behind the scenes of her film. it ends with us. >> stop walking through this party, following me around. just shut up for one second. >> she alleges a hostile work environment where she faced sexual harassment from her costar and director justin baldoni, and later retaliation in a smear campaign organized by publicists and a crisis management team hired by wayfarer studios, the studio behind the film that was co-founded by baldoni. the a-list actress, filing a complaint with the california civil rights department. she accuses baldoni of unwanted

discussions about porn, criticizing her body and weight and violating her physical boundaries. >> she alleges that he tries to input new sexual scenes that she never signed up for to begin with, and also improvising kissing scenes where she accuses baldoni of actually biting or sucking on her lip. >> baldoni denies the accusations, his attorney firing back in a statement saying these claims are completely false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious. when the film about a woman in an abusive relationship debuted in august, fans began to speculate online when neither lively nor other stars did press with baldoni. >> they won't even take a picture together at the premiere. >> both actors speaking to the hollywood reporter. baldoni describing the difficulties of playing an abusive character. >> i almost had to step out of my body. there were a lot of times, i mean, even thinking about it is hard. >> lively talking about overcoming challenges during production. >> honestly, the work that i did on screen was easier than the

work that i did off screen in this movie because of all that went into it. >> according to the complaint, lively faced a barrage of negative headlines created, planted and amplified by the studio's crisis management pr team. an attorney for baldoni and the studio behind the film said they proactively hired a crisis manager due to the multiple demands and threats made by ms. lively during production. threats, they say, included not showing up to set, threatening to not promote the film. the reverberations throughout hollywood has been swift. baldoni dropped by his agency. meanwhile, lively's costars from the sisterhood of the traveling pants, saying they stand in solidarity with her. >> it's no mystery that there is bad blood between blake lively and justin baldoni. the only question is which version of the facts are true? >> and we're going to turn now to a new chapter for the legendary elton john. he's written the soundtrack for many generations, and he's still doing it, mentoring younger superstars and helping them avoid the pitfalls of fame.
