>> who didn't climb like a normal. >> 737 departure. >> does, which goes way up in a hurry. >> and then the altitude started back down. and then i remember, hit the first impact, and then a moment or two later, the second impact, and i went unconscious temporarily. and the second one, i could feel the water. and the biggest problem was getting the seat belts off. my secretary was sitting next to me in the other seat. she and i both were able to get out while i was in the water. there were four other. i saw four other people that got out of the airplane, all of them from the back section. and another gal who the helicopter got off. and then there were there was a two other men that i saw. those were the only people that i saw that looked like they got out of the airplane at all. and the one who, one of the other men said he was still strapped in. i couldn't reach

him or do anything. and his he was. just literally strapped in. the other guy i know got out when they told me in with the helicopter. i was trying to hold on to the two gals at the same time, and then they were kind of dragging us through the water. the problem was that the ice chunks were there was a big chunks of ice in there, and i couldn't hold on to anybody at that. also, there was one guy who was on the beach on the bank with the dc side of the bank that tried to swim in. he i don't know who he was, but he kept trying to get out there with a rope, and there were a lot of people trying to throw ropes down to us from the bridge, but we couldn't move. there was no way to move, you know, the only chance you had, it seemed like, was to hold on to what was left of that airplane. is that what you did? i held on to that. i there one of the gals. the one i saw that the guy went into the water to get. she came from a little bit more forward in the airplane, it
