tariffs today on all imports of steel and aluminum. canada is the biggest supplier of aluminum into the u.s, doug ford, the premier of ontario, accusing trump of shifting goalposts and constant chaos, putting our economy at risk. last week, trump agreed to pause 25% tariffs on all mexican and canadian imports after those countries agreed to border security concessions. but now trump says he'll soon announce reciprocal tariffs on any country that imposed tariffs on the u.s. >> i'll be announcing probably tuesday or wednesday at a news conference reciprocal tariffs. and very simply, it's if they charge us, we charge them. >> the trump administration is now questioning a federal judge's decision blocking elon musk's department of government efficiency, or doge, from accessing treasury department records. judges have also blocked trump's mass federal buyouts and order, placing usaid workers on leave and trump's plan to end birthright citizenship. >> we have tremendous fraud, tremendous waste and tremendous abuse and theft, by the way. and

five people in connection with the disappearance of ronald dumas. the 37 year old was last seen on surveillance video in december, leaving a liquor store in huntsville with two women. his car was found in tennessee, nearly 200 miles away. >> new concerns this morning about the bird flu, driving up egg prices and triggering shortages across the country. and those eggs are also becoming a hot commodity for criminals. here's abc's ike ejiochi. >> as the bird flu outbreak sends the price of eggs to record highs, more evidence that the grocery staple is becoming an attractive target for thieves. new surveillance video showing two suspects entering a refrigerated shed behind a seattle cafe in the middle of the night. loading hundreds of dollars worth of eggs and other breakfast foods into a white van before fleeing the scene. this comes as police are investigating another theft in pennsylvania earlier this month, this one targeting a distribution facility for pete and gerry's eggs, where thieves were able to get away with 100,000 eggs worth approximately

$40,000, leading the company to beef up security. >> if it happened once, it could happen again. so we are putting additional measures in place. >> in just the last month, more than 20 million birds have been impacted by bird flu across the country, creating a nationwide egg shortage as infected flocks are culled and their eggs destroyed to control the spread of the virus. the bird flu also infecting animals inside two iconic new york city zoos, three ducks at the queens zoo and as many as 12 birds at the bronx zoo are believed to have died from the virus, according to the wildlife conservation society, which operates the parks. the organization releasing a statement as a precaution. over the last two weeks, we moved vulnerable bird species to protected areas in our parks. our veterinarians and curators continue to closely monitor the situation in the region and are collaborating with city, state and federal agencies. the news following governor kathy hochul's order, temporarily shuttering all live bird markets in the city and surrounding suburban communities. >> there is no immediate public

beating out kansas city chiefs 40 to 22. >> who is he saying i love you to. all right. he clearly couldn't be with us this morning for obvious reasons. but he did take the time to tell us about a very special rescue shelter for some of his other favorite animals. >> at this animal rescue and sanctuary in bloomington, indiana. the little guys get the most attention. >> we're a rodent and rabbit rescue. >> officially. but basically, if it isn't a predator, we'll take it. >> it's called the pipsqueak, named after a hamster named pipsqueak, who belonged to alex hurley here and her husband jason. initially in 2013, they just started with trying to help hamsters. >> i used to think it was a big, big responsibility when we had like 50 hamsters. now we usually care for about 700 animals at a time. >> fast forward a bit and in 2024, the pipsqueak cared for more than 2200 domestic and wild animals. sometimes they get adopted or rehabilitated by their veterinary staff and sent

to another rescue. or if they can't be released back into the wild either, the animals are welcome to stay. how many places are like you guys in the country? >> you know, like us? exactly. i'm going to say no one. >> they also have one of a kind personalities like agnes here. >> i'm not going to let me sit here and work without you. >> agnes was brought in a few months ago with a broken leg, and their loyal online following quickly raised thousands of dollars to help. as you can see, many even sent her stuffed animals to snuggle with and waterproof blankets to sleep on during her recovery. >> grooming the couch. >> now, alex says agnes is doing much better, but she's been deemed unreleasable. alex says it can cost $20,000 a month to run their organization. >> a lot of months, i just cancel my paycheck. >> so of course she appreciates every donation that comes in and allows them to care for these thousands of animals who often get overlooked. >> if my experience has shown anything, it's that, wow, there are a lot of other animals out there that need a lot of help. >> so guys, if you want to donate pipsqueak or you spelled
