emergency landing in rome. transportation correspondent is here and got those details for us. >> this has sparked a whole investigation now. take a look at this video. an american airlines plane from new york flanked on both sides by italian air force jets, forced to make an emergency landing in rome. you can see one of those fighter jets right there from inside the plane for the flight had more than 200 people on board and was originally flying to new delhi, a senior official telling abc news that the flight was diverted because of a bomb threat received over email. in a statement, american saying safety and security are our top priorities and we apologize to our customers for the inconvenience. at the end of the day, that bomb threat was found to be noncredible and the plane safely diverted. they did conduct a security sweep. but very scary. >> very scary indeed. thank you so much. we are going to turn now to the road to the oscars. six days away. here with some of the big surprises overnight. good morning. >> nice to see well. does that count onto the oscars
