defined a generation. but now, friends and fans are learning the shocking news that the former child star was found dead in her new york city apartment this morning. she was just 39 years old. >> growing up watching gossip girl, like in middle school, it was really sad. and she was so young. she was very young. >> according to a police source, trachtenberg's mother found her unresponsive and called 911. emts quickly responding to the scene, but it was too late. >> she was so talented and she could have gone so far in life, so i'm really sorry for that. >> police said there was no foul play, but the medical examiner's office is going to investigate because it's an unattended death, and undoubtedly the family is going to want to know what happened. >> a police source says the actress had recently received a liver transplant, and now questions surfacing about whether she was experiencing complications. >> nothing that our sources have told us about her health, history or anything that would have led to her having this kind

camera. shannon beador, a cast member of the real housewives of orange county, was charged with driving under the influence and other alcohol related traffic charges in november of 2023, but pleaded no contest to misdemeanor dui charges. >> when i had my dui. >> that night. >> i lost control of the car. >> and real housewives of new york star luann de lesseps was arrested on christmas eve in 2017 for disorderly intoxication, seen on police video released at the time. >> don't touch me! i'm going to kill you. i'll kill you. >> later. pleading guilty to battery, trespassing and disorderly intoxication. the incidents often bleeding over into storylines on the shows. >> drinking on reality tv is shifting over the years, and it's interesting if you go back and look at shows even five years ago or more, you will see more drinking. it is shifting. we are seeing more and more cast mates that are sober and do not
