the u.s. forest service tells us that it has called in fresh crews to fight a pair burning near yosemite -- fight a fire burning near yosemite. the fire is laying down tonight but the firefighters have not gotten containment. it is burning outside of yosemite in the national forest along highway 140. ktvu went there today when the flames were spreading quickly. when it was first reported at noon yesterday the fire was 40-acres and by midnight it was

we could see spotty drizzle out there and especially near the shore lines. patchy fog will be to increase, the weekend, morning cloud cover, temperatures will be warming up and then next week, we are talking about a cooling trend. interesting developments here on the satellite and radar, look at the moisture moving in, a few high clouds moving in. with the moisture in place, there's a chance of a shower near the bay area. but we will pick up a few high clouds as we go to the first half of the weekend. clearing skies and that means the warmest locates inland will be in the upper 90s. here is the forecast model. i'll put it in motion.
