woman. >> reporter: frank, hayward police are telling us, that security camera video from this kaiser parking garage was a key piece of evidence in the arrest of a murder suspect today. police arrested giselle esteban for murder at her union city home this afternoon. she is a childhood friend of le's, and both attended the same high school. police say le was last seen going to her car in a kaiser garage. >> security camera footage reveals that esteban was present, both before and after michelle's disappearance. >> m i c helle's dna was found

structures, about a half dozen residents who had been in danger earlier, are now safe. firefighters in the east bay, say a fire may have started at a homeless encampment. it was first reported around 2:00 had a this afternoon -- 2:40 this afternoon. it took firefighters about 45 minutes to put out the flames. we're told an engine company is remaining on the sceneover night to watch for possible flare ups. this coming friday is the one year anniversary of the san bruno explosion. since that day, we've heard quite a bit from politicians and pg and e about pipeline safety issues. we wanted to visit the neighborhood on a normal day, to see how the pipeline has changed things. >> reporter: one year later, flowers are still up to remember the lives lost. in an area that looks more like a construction zone than a

about the port's reason for kicking them out. >> reporter: pier 38 is on some prime real estate, south of the bay bridge. some of the tenants took us on a tour earlier today. they think the port is just fine, but the port of san francisco thinks differently, and red tagged the building, saying it's unsafe. saying the problems at pier 38 are so serious, the 20 or so businesses here must move out this month, officials would not go on camera, but tell ktvu, there are serious electrical, and plumbing issues, and that city inspectors found fire code violations. he's been running a boat repair shop here for about 12 years. >> i ask, does it mean we can't go to our office? they said we don't know. >> reporter: they trying to find them new locations. chris is working with an agent to find a place for his software company and 15 employees. >> it's not going to happen

giant,amazon appears to have reached an agreement to resolve the contentious battle over collecting internet sales tax. according to published reports, amazon won't have to start collecting california sales tax until september of 2012. in the meantime, amazon and others plan to ask congress to find a national solution to the online sales tax debate, and amazon will not pursue a ballot referendum, seeking to overturn the new california law. a court ruling in germany sent stocks on wall street surging today. the dow finished up 275 points and the nasdaq jumped 3%. investors were pleased with the decision by generalny's constitutional court allowing the country to help bail out euro zone countries. yahoo owners about the search for a new ceo. our cameras were not allowed inside, but afterwards, workers told ktvu news, the meeting was reassuring and upbeat.
