gopro camera in deep powder. but it's what happens next that will renew your faith in your fellow snowboarders. >> that's a good story. >> and this guy wants to impress his lady. so he does the old follswallow cinnamon trick. >> see why after this stunt he was the one shouting. >> woo-ow! woo! it's time to get things started with a story that nick found for us. >> imagine being in a foreign country, driving around at night and you get lost on a dark, curvy road. >> can you get out of the car? and at the end of that road is a leak. you drive right into it. that's what happened to two vietnamese cousins in texas. they were driving around on this road that looked like an on-ramp to a highway to them. they come around the corner, it's at night. it goes right into the lake.

>> and then the water started coming in the car. >> sheriff deputy kevin rowan was on patrol, just happened to be in the right place at the right time. >> i have to, they're sinking. they can't get out. the two svietnamese students can't swim. he wades no the water, and just as this honda civic is about to below the cerowan is able to g them, break through the back window and pull the two girls out. >> look at that water rushing, too. it's not like it's just a still, calm lake. >> and it was cold, too. and if not for deputy rowan being there to save them, these two girls may have drowned. >> ooh. >> wow. >> the same thing happened about two months ago at the same lake, different boat ramp. >> i've heard people say it almost looks like an on ramp where you get on the highway. >> at night, where it's almost too late, i could see how they could drive off. >> the one sign that's there is

partially buried. as of monday, the city of dallas is putting up new signs and considering major improvements, including replacing all signs completely, adding reflective signs, speed bumps and barricades so hopefully a lost driver doesn't do the same thing again. i'm very excited to show you guys this video, because "right this minute" has attained what i believe are images of the world's first flying moose. the images of this rare beast were captured on this dash cam from parts unknown. out of nowhere -- >> oh, there it is! >> oh! >> and the beast flies through the air. the world's first flying moose gets up and decides to just walk away. >> you know what, it's not the moose's fault. the other car had one light out. the moose couldn't see it. one of the commenters on this youtube video said the other light is now fixed.

maybe the first gymnast move. >> like a double axle. >> a triple saucow. >> it breaks my hard heart to watch this happen. spinning around like bambi on the ice and gets up completely confused. it is killing my heart. >> actually, this just in. from our research, the moose is fine. yeah, he texted our producers said that he's fine. he's with his moose family. and he's good. okay? and don't worry. -- and don't worry about -- i'm fine. >> i follow him on twitter. he's okay. >> this should go in textbooks on how not to land a helicopter. >> whoa, whoa. >> this video was shot in northern libya at a festival, what looks like probably a

chinook helicopter comes in next to a giant tent and people were underneath it. if we go back and slow it down, there are people still holding on when that thing starts rolling. one guy is holding on to that beam and falls. he gets up and runs. >> there was a guy still on the thing when it flipped over. like he went for a ride. >> he was holding on to the tent. it was like he did a full-on head over feet flip. >> hopefully he held on the whole way until it flipped back over, right-side up. >> if you notice, that thing rolled over some people, because when it pops back up, see, those people start running. they all get up. >> isn't it common sense that you just don't land a giant helicopter next to a tent? isn't that just something you should know, not to do? >> but you've got to think maybe the pilot thought that thing was anchored down, to. you never know.

♪ a car just hit the auction block with a pretty hefty price tag. take a look at this car. it's a 2005 chrysler 300 series 300c. >> not particularly impressive car, if it's going to hit the block for a lot of money, but okay. >> this car is being auctioned off for $1 million. >> okay. either somebody famous owned it or something happened in it. >> ding, ding, ding, gayle. according to the title of the vehicle, this vehicle was leased by president barack obama. he leased the car when it had just 2 miles on it in july of 2004, and then drove it until 2007, shortly before he was elected president of the united states. >> so who is auctioning this? >> a woman named lisa seebore put this up for auction but doing it as a third-party seller. we have lisa via skype. have you gotten any bites yet?

>> we haven't got any actual bids on ebay, but we've had bites. serious callers. >> the person that you're -- did they know what they're getting? >> yes, a man named tim o'boyle bought it from the same dodge dealer where obama had originally leased it. back then, he was really not well-known. and once obama got in the spotlight, he stopped driving it and put it in the garage. >> does tim have any plans to use some of this money for charity? >> charities. what we would really like is a call from the president to let us know what charity he would prefer us to give money to. >> do you think it's possible to even fetch this million dollars? >> i believe there will be a bidding war at the end. i believe it will be more than $1 million. >> when is this auction over? what is the final day? >> wednesday night, 11:00 eastern. >> it's like the only car you could ever buy that was once his. >> because, i mean, i don't think that man has driven in three years.

but imagine you're shredding down the slopes, snowboarding, you have the run of your life, and you've got your camera hooked up but then it falls off. lost, forever. bummer. this video is called, there still are good people out there. a few minutes later, another boarder notices the camera. he points him out as good-guy snowboarder. we learn later this guy's name is ian, picks it up and continues going down the mountain, finishes up his run. but what he does next is what makes this video. this youtube poster says that the guy thought, hey, if i turn this into lost and found, it's never going to get back to this guy. someone is going to snag it. so instead he left his cell phone number with an employee at the ski shop, and the guy who lost his camera, of course, went to the ski shop and said, hey, did anybody turn in a gopro, and he said no, but somebody left a phone number. called the next day, got his

irish police on his tail. catches up three guys. apparently this guy is a protester in the area of a big pipeline expansion into his island where people are protesting the building of this pipeline. and you can hear the bystanders in the background saying -- [ shouting ] >> one of the police here was heard trying to scare the guy reading traffic laws in the book. >> it weirdly looked like he was having a good time while running, ha-ha-ha-ha, running from the police. >> wee! >> is that a female cop, though? >> i believe it is. >> i think the cop on the right is a woman, getting chased by a girl, but not in a good way. you know what i mean? ♪ he sounds like a politician, and sure looks like one.
