hear what life is like when you're afraid to show your face. and meet the woman who rescued the donkey and got a duet partner in return. we're going to get things started with a rescue story from christian. >> the officer in this video became an instant hero after pulling off a rescue that put his own life in danger. we found this video on ten news in san diego. and this burning car has stalled, with 27-year-old alex hillman inside of it. and as he was sitting there with his car stalled, an suv came up behind him and completely rear-ended him, causing a fire to start. so the car is engulfed in flames. but officers arrive to the scene, and one of those officers, danny medina, saw that alex was unconscious inside the

car. >> the guy is unconscious, breathing, unaware of danger. >> he knew he had to take immediate action, so he ended up risking his own life to pull alex out of the car. >> this guy is total hero. that's super-brave. >> what do we know about alex's condition, was he injured in any way? >> he was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. >> my neck hurts and my head hurts. >> alex had taken his seat belt off when his car stalled. because he was probably thinking of getting out of the car to figure out what he was going to do. probably make a phone call. but the impact from the suv made him unconscious. >> i dot want tohink tha have b car, but i've heard that scenario happen where the seat belts melted and you just can't get out. that could have been so much worse. this man literally pull immediate out of my window. i'm not even sure if i could physically do that for another person so i have so much gratitude for this man. >> it's what these guys do every

day. call them heroes, they're just doing their job. the preface of this video by saying everything you're about to see is real. the picture you're seeing there is the photo of the song lee sisters. all three of these sisters have a rare condition known as werewolf syndrome. it's a genetic mutation, it's one of the rarest conditions in the entire world. in fact, about one in one billion people. and they inherited it from their father. this is the songly sisters' mother. [ speaking foreign language ] >> that's sad. >> the sisters are very young, age 23, 18 and 16. the video put together by namaste kuwait, they sat down and interviewed the mother, the

daughters. >> she actually looks pretty hair-free. but you find out it's because she uses a hair removal cream that keeps the hair at bay for about two days. >> two days? >> wow. >> the thing that's so terrifying to their mother is that these girls will never marry. [ speaking foreign language ] >> the daughters have tried to work to maintain a lifestyle for themselves. but they can only keep jobs for about ten to 15 days, as the hair starts growing back in they're often fired from their position. >> the culture doesn't understand them and their condition, either. >> because it's so rare. they're hoping at some point to raise enough money for these young girls to get laser hair removal treatment. >> this really strikes home that some of the stuff that bothers us is really superficial.

a place that doesn't get that kind of weather. >> nick is in tripoli, he's got his lady. she's not going to put on a bikini. >> you're right. >> now i've got a convert. >> now we're going to shift our focus a little farther east. this is a speed train in japan. somebody put a camera through the fence, just to film the speed train and how it's blowing dust everywhere. japan has seen temperatures of 21 degrees fahrenheit. it's like there's no snowfall, kind of calm. and the train goes by and it looks like a white-out for a second. >> it's pretty incredible that they're having, particularly in europe, it's been deadly and all over europe they're seeing these temperatures in the teens and guess what, they don't expect this cold weather to lift at least for the next week. i think we should all go -- gong, gong, time for some -- martial arts action.

balcony. it's got a little go pro camera on board. the guy's got skills with the plane and he captures some pretty images. the plane seems to be about $150. >> is it connected to his computer so he's looking? >> no, but if you watch in each different scene, you can see where he's standing. and the plane flies right by him. >> oh, i thought this was all one flight. >> so did i. >> he buzzs under bridges, through doorways. and dams, all kinds of stuff. here, he's flying it from a hot air balloon. >> he shows up in a hot air balloon. flying around the balloon. gets shots of himself. towards the end he gets into a bit of a pickle. >> oh! >> ooh! >> right into the drink. >> takes a dunk. >> did the plane survive? >> the plane survives, it's styrofoam. here he comes, the coolest part is that the camera is pointing at him. >> he saw how he launched the plane. you ever wonder how the plane lands when it doesn't crash into the water like that? >> how does it land?
