that's for sure. pictures of a puppy in a hole that will have you saying -- >> this is the cutest rescue video ever. a couple of beer bottles, a golf ball and an excavator make for -- >> quite a stunt. >> meet the guy who pulled it off in one take. >> i actually didn't think it was possible. and a baby gorilla is separated from mom. >> oh! >> he is only days old. he's got a little diaper. >> we've got the story of why he's in foster care and how you can give him a name. it's all coming up on the "rtm" friday "countdown." time to get it started with the number 10 video of the day and the story behind it. nick has it for us. >> if you're going to own one of the fastest production cars in the world, you want to be able to stretch its leg as little bit. the guy that owns this bugatti decided to go down to southern arizona, down i-8 and stretch the legs of this

1,005-horsepower super car. this thing is a beauty. its top speed reported 268 miles per hour. >> something tells me the police cruiser is not going to run this guy down. >> they're not going to catch this car. they did seven different speed runs. they got it up to 215, to 225 miles per hour. the driver kept this thing in what's called handling mode. because, the road surface here isn't perfectly smooth. so they were afraid to attempt the 268-mile-per-hour top speed mode. this is out on a public road. on a public highway. >> reports that i read say this was done on arizona's i-8. a public highway. >> did they give out some kind of warning signal to cars to get off the road? >> it's pretty desolate out there. and i imagine they probably had alert vehicles on either end of their run. >> no problem if it was a closed road. but this is a public road? i don't think i agree with this. >> they did come in touch with an arizona department of public safety officer at one point. now there's two conflicting reports on this.

we contacted department of public safety, who says they ticketed this car for doing 80 in a 65. the poster who uploaded this in the description said we got pulled over. but the cop said he was pulling us over to check out the car. at number nine, a great video, a story from the man who shot it and a happy ending. a school bus in charlotte, north carolina, was on its afternoon route, but it had to make an unscheduled stop. here's why. [ sirens ] >> that doesn't look good. >> as you can see, there are just plumes of smoke billowing from this school bus and listen to this. you can hear the windows cracking and popping from the heat. the driver of the bus is being praised for her swift actions in getting the kids off the bus safely. here's what she had to say. >> i basically stopped the bus. as i saw the smoke in the bus, i

knew it was time to get the kids off the bus. >> quick thinking by the driver. you can't take any chances when you've got a numb of young children's lives on your hands. any idea what made the bus burn? >> they're still investigating but early reports are saying it was an electrical problem. the video that we're seeing was shot by a charlotte resident named dennis benning and we have him via skype "right this minute." dennis, explain to me the scene and what it was going on. >> i was taking my son home from school. there was just a little bit of smoke when we first got there. so then i just grabbed my flip camera and pressed the red button and held the shot, that's all there was to it. >> when the fire was put out, what did the bus look like? >> it was really charred. the smoke was so thick. it was pretty much a mess. it was no camp fire, that's for sure. >> the bus driver, lendora richardson has been praised for her quick actions. what do you think of what you saw? >> she should be, absolutely.

she did a great job. there was no panic. that was a big deal. >> there's one firefighter that shows up. and it looks like he just gets into the bus. >> he does. >> what were you thinking as you were watching him put this out? >> i thought he was nuts. but you know, they know what they're doing. the whole time i'm standing there. i keep waiting for the big movie explosion. that the bus is going to blow and it's going to flip over. he just walks right in and puts it out in about ten seconds. now there's a lot of buses out to get school kids in today's top 10 "countdown," it's trains. >> an amazing story out of santiago, chile. a community train derails and amazingly, no one was hurt. look on the right side of your screen. you're seeing a train derail. it knocks into a couple of cars and rams into an apartment building. >> whoa! >> here's the thing -- the train

also derailed near a playground. >> oh wow. >> now this happened about 10:00 in the morning and they say, that the conductor was taking the train to an above-ground storage area, where it derailed off the tracks, and hit a couple of cars. ran into the building and missed the playground. the conductor, while shocked, was taken to the hospital, but wasn't hurt. >> there were no passengers on the train? >> there were no passengers on at the time. >> but it looks like it hit a pretty busy area. there were a lot of cars and it looks like there's homes around there? what's around there? >> what's around there was the apartment building, a playground and a parking lot where it hit some cars. and this witness talks about the impact of the train on one of the cars. >> that car's parking spot is over there. so it dragged it. that's what we saw. when it dragged the car, all the way over there. >> it's going to take a long time to clean this up, too. it's a huge mess.

we're at number seven on the "rtm" "countdown," it's time to vote. is it real? >> the everlasting wonder of these loch ness monsters and whether they're real or not. the battle continues! >> they're real! totally real! i've seen photos on the internet. >> this is another one, it's from iceland at a lake, their version of the loch ness monster is a worm-like creature. >> see? what is that? >> when i was looking at it from far away, i thought it was a crack in the ice that's flowing from the river. when you get closer, it looks ke's 's loer than a football field. >> this drives me bonkers, you finally lay eyes on it. you've got a camera in your

what do you do in norway when you've got a lot of time on your hands and you're bored? yeah. apparently this is an option. guy takes his ice skates and a bag of fun, out to a lake. okay, first you're like, yeah, that's pretty interesting, a guy is skating on thin ice. but what this guy does out here, i'm like, he takes a vodka bottle and starts chucking some vodka and takes his shirt off. now you can see he's chopping out a hole in the ice and sticks his head in the hole. next to the bottle of vodka.

through our "countdown," at our number five video. these are words that have never come out of my mouth this is the cutest rescue video -- ever. we got this from wxyz in detroit. what you're seeing looks like a guy digging in a hole, right? but he's after something very adorable. >> oh! >> aw, it's a kitten. >> no, it's a little puppy! >> they got him, they got him. >> this puppy had gotten trapped in a drain and the owners couldn't get to it. they ended up calling the michigan humane society and they brought out an entire team, including excavators to help get the puppy. that's how that giant hole was created. this is a puggle dachshund. >> he's so little. he looked like a rat almost. he's that small. >> the puppy had been trapped in the drain for hours. the owners did try to get him out. they heard the puppy will

stacked up. >> that's awesome. >> quite a stunt. >> so we've got the bobcat ninja himself. tom, how does one become a bobcat ninja? >> you just got to be doing it for a lot of years. a lot of practice. >> you look like a kid. >> yeah. i know i'm 24. but i've been doing it since i was four years old. so i got a lot of experience. >> tell us exactly how you pulled this stunt off. >> i actually didn't think it was possible. when i tried to do it. but it really only did take one take. but it takes a lot of precision. that's a 10,000-pound machine. just doing it for a long time, you can almost feel the controls. so even though i'm only putting very, very little pressure on the bottle and the golf ball, you can actually feel it through the controls of the machine. >> what other kind of tricks do you have on the bobcat ninja youtube channel? >> i got all sorts of tricks. i can pick up a quarter off a cement floor with that machine. i can stack 3/4-inch lug nuts into a pyramid. >> has anyone from bobcat

>> he was born january 23rd at the gulf breeze zoo in florida. little baby gorilla is being taken care of by kate, the director at the zoo. and the reason she is caring for him is because his momma, after he was born, was not producing milk and she was displaying behavior that made them worry about the safety of the gorilla. so they decided to care for the baby themselves. >> i don't think he knows the difference. he's kind of happy regardless. >> we have kate and tameel welch, the curator at the zoo to tell us how the baby is doing. >> what's his daily schedule like? >> we treat him like we're gorillas, we never leave the ground, we crawl all over the place. when we talk to him, we talk to him in gorilla talk, like we would with each other. >> will he be reintroduced to his mom? >> he visits his mom and dad twice a day. by five months, he should be back with his group. >> how big is he going to get?
