landed six feet from a nearby river. >> this is off the walmart parking lot? >> her bag flew away, she chased it and fell? >> yeah. it happened around 3:50 p.m. police got a call. they checked out surveillance video, they run out, look over and there she is sitting by the side of the river. she suffered a fractured hip and a broken leg. >> oh! >> geez. >> wow! >> look at these guys, how they are getting her out of there. the old heave ho. >> they sut up a pulley system and pulling her out. >> what a lucky lady to recognize it so soon. she could have been down there all night, maybe died of exposure. >> they were worried about exposure. she had on a sweatshirt and long johns. it provided her protection.

>> protective structure to keep this from happening ever again. take a look at this footage that was just released of a house fire that happened in san bernardino, california. >> a fire from the front door. >> the angle is actually a helmet cam. >> reports in the back of the house. >> there's a man trapped in the back of the home. you can see this man with the helmet cam explore the back of the house, then have to enter through the front of the house because there are bars on all the windows. there's big, black smoke out of the windows. it's not going to be an easy rescue. >> the guy walks off the truck. as he's walking, there's somebody in the back of the house. they go in and start trying to find this person. >> the thing that is terrifying about it, it's pitch black dark. >> i don't know how they do what they do. >> they feel their way around.

they are trained to put a hand on the wall and find the circumfrance of the room and find a doorway. it's how they go through. >> you are hearing communication between two firemen going together to rescue this man. they found the guy. the two of them, together, pick him up. as the video continues, it starts to prigten up. they are headed to the door. you can see the faint outline of his body. this is a 55-year-old, steve duncan. he is unresponsive when they get him to the front of the home. the firefighters quickly began performing cpr. he was taken to the hospital but pronounced dead at the hospital. >> oh, man. >> they got in there as quick as they could. they got the guy out and then he doesn't make it. it's got to be tough to take. i got some dashcam video from alberta, canada that might

slide that minicamera on your finger. there's a range sensor on your finger that senses the distance from your face to the camera. if you go close, it gets a wide picture. if i go like this, it's zooming in. all i have to do is push with my thumb and it takes a picture. i don't know why you would need something like this. i was going to say with crazy cool technology, awesome that someone thought of this. it's easy to take a picture on your iphone. >> you look dweeby doing this. get your phone out and take a picture. >> we checked in with charles trippy and we found out that he had a brain tumor. >> i have a tumor in my head. since we spoke to charles last, he had surgery. >> we just got out of consult. he's good.

>> he had the tumor removed. >> look at you. you can see the scar and his head is completely shaved. you can see a different charles trippy. he's posted a video now with news from his doctors. >> it's not malignant. it's benign! >> it's benign! >> that's the type of tumor it is. it's a scary thing to google. do not google it. >> he says the tumor is benign, it is not cancerous or malignant. a great diagnosis. of course, we want to find out how he's feeling and how he's doing. we have him via skype. can we see your head? it's growing back already.
