heart-stopping video as kids fight a losing battle against two vicious dogs, until one brave dude jumps in. >> he got between these dogs and these children. >> threw my left arm up. >> how he finally got the upper hand. >> nice run. nice little black tip. >> what? >> yeah, that's a shark. now hear about the adventures of shark boy. >> when i walked in everybody was like you have done it again! see what happens after a bike and a cow have a beef in the road. >> he should have said mooooove. >> and -- >> everybody wants a dancer's body. but who would have thought this truck driver could help you get it. >> i still got it after all these years. can you believe that? dogs are supposed to be man's best friend in this next video, quite the opposite. this is in washington, d.c.

it's a neighbor's surveillance camera. you see two dogs going after children. three children in the neighborhood. two of these kids jump on top of this car to get away from these -- what looked like rather big dogs. watch what happens. >> oh. >> the kid runs for his apartment complex. that's 11-year-old xavier bryant runs. the dog is after him. >> i kept runnin >> to the rescue came a hero for this day. andre hawthorne. you see him here with his injuries. he got between these dogs and these children. and sort of acted almost like a human field. >> i threw my left arm up, so the dog gripped this. while he was gripping this, i was using my right hand to punch him. >> andre had a knife on him and he was able to injury one of the dogs but they wouldn't give up.

they kept attacking andre, until neighbors came with bats. one guy is whaling away at the dogs. tha >> thank goodness they didn't get ahold of those kids. >> people in the neighborhood are not happy. they want the dogs put down. they know who the dogs belong to but apparently nobody has been able to track down the dogs or the owners. animal control will keep their eyes peeled for these dogs again. >> i have to give it to andre, to put himself in the way of these dogs. he probably knows those dogs could have gotten control of his neck and this would have been it. >> shaking his arm around like that, they could have easily done the same thing to his neck. >> i'm glad i got my arm and i'm glad i'm still alive. surveillance video helped protect the reputation of a cop in pennsylvania, because a man accused him of having slashed the tires on his tow truck. the surveillance video we got from our friends at wpxi.

the driver of this tow trck, anthony nic said he parked his truck right next to a police officer. they both went into the store, later in the video you see the front of truck drop. when anthony came back, he thought it was the officer parked next to him that had done this. but here in this part of the surveillance video, we see the police officer walking back to his car. >> so he wasn't even out there when this happened. he was in the store. >> he was walking back to his car when this happened. on a different angle, surveillance video, you actually see someone standing in front of this truck as a police officer is getting into his car. >> i wonder why he thought it was the police officer that would do that? what would be his motivation? >> anthony asked to see the surveillance video, but he doesn't have forensic perspective because he thought even after looking at the surveillance video, that it was the cop that had done this. but a closer, more analytical

what happens. >> a pair of burglars made a daring smash and grab. it was caught on surveillance video. the truck smashes right through the front door of tt & h firearms in richland county, south carolina. two guys jump out and steal about 30 assault weapons and handguns. they start loading them into the back of the pickup truck. their faces are completely covered. you never get a clear look at these guys. >> it's like shadows. >> these guys were successful just by driving a truck into a gun place. you would think it would be more secure. >> they had bars on the windows and bars on the front door. the pickup truck drove right through those bars. the estimated loss to this building and the loss of the inventory, about $100,000. and all of those weapons now are just out on the street. >> it looked like they were operating in the dark. the only thing lighting their path is the headlights.

this meteor shower was caught by some photographers and they put some great time lapse videos on youtube. this is from jack buyer. he said there are two different kinds of light you look at, the ones that stay bright that go across the screen, he said those are airplanes. he said meteors will fade as you see them go across the screen. delores caught this meteor shower in montana and also caught the aurora borealis. ♪ this was photographed by cameron barge on lake mcdonald in glacier national park in montana. there's some new weapon technology out there. and, of course, who else gets their hands on it first but spf

into the center of the apple. then turn it over and rotate it a quarter, and then do the same thing on the bottom. >> so you cut the top, you cut the bottom and add two other cuts on the side. he makes his cuts, then you have a puzzle. >> so it's just two pieces. >> mm-hmm. >> i wouldn't necessarily call it a puzzle. usually -- most puzzles i have done or played, more than two piece pieces. >> i have a chick to show with you a banana that's better than that. my grandfather used to chitrick with this all the time. you're putting small holes in the banana, and you're slicing it on the inside without going through the peel. hopefully this works. see? >> sliced banana.
