today. the collision happened just 9:00 on highway 101. the teenage driver was video taping the motorcyclists, lost control and hit two of them knocking them off their bikes. the driver was allegedly beaten up by several bikers. so far nobody's been arrested. the driver and two motorcycles who crashed suffered minor injuries. another crash this afternoon killed a motorcyclist. the highway patrol says the rider of a harley davidson collided with a cam pact the rider died at sanford hospital. police have not released his identity. yesterday another motorcyclist was killed on the same stretch of road in a solo crash. a house fire sent three people to the hospital this

weekend. last night's 10:00 news we showed it to you and you can see the flames shooting up from the house there on lucy street. the fire broke out at a party at about 7:30 p.m. across the bay in oakland, police are now involved in the investigation into a three alarm warehouse fire that revealed a large marijuana growing operation. when fire crews arrived they say flames were shooting 30 feet into the air. when it was all over firefighters found 200 marijuana plants. no injuries were reported. today about 40,000 runners took part in the 101st annual bay to braker's race. the winner took home $25,000. he finished the 12 k course in 12 minutes and 40 seconds.

deterrent. >> alcohol is now banned from the race, but that didn't stop many. these panhandle residents along the race route put up yellow tape and took guard, this after parties damaged property last year. >> they broke the stairs and a lot of people were going in and out as they pleased like it was their house. >> this year seemed a bit more tame. >> a couple years where it's been more mayhem, probably than necessary but i think the cops did a good job this year. they moved people on. the minute the crowd stopped and started congregating they moved them on. i don't know if they banned the alcohol or the nudity or what but it seems to be fun but not so rowdy this year. >> police and cleaning crews began clearing the streets around noon and those streets were reopened more than an hour ahead of schedule. san francisco police tell us at least one person was arrested

200 million records. their hits included night fever, staying alive and jive talking. gibs had been hospitalized numerous times over the last few years. today he lost his battle with colorectal cancer. while others were writing songs with political meaning the bee gees wrote about emotion because as he put it people love songs that melt your heart. traders will be watching facebook as trading begins tomorrow. some say underwriters convinced facebook to offer too much stock and that the market didn't have enough appetite for the number of shares offered. the response by investors say they're cautious about high tech and are waiting to gauge facebook's potential to turn its popularity into profit. facebook priced shares at $38 but it ended just 23 cents higher, far less than what some

the crash happened just before 9:00 p.m. one person was injured. utility crews had to cap a gas line that had been cut. pg and e spokesman tells us the homeowner will likely need to make structural repairs to ensure that the home is safe enough for a new gas line. new details tonight about a homeless man known asless who was critically injured in a hit and run crash. the man's family just arrived in town and said it had no idea he was living on the streets. >> every day on their way to work she used to pass a homeless man known asless. he never asked for money. >> he used to walk by him every

today as demonstrators pushed gengs a wall of police. president obama orders a gr increase. >> good evening. protesters jammed the streets here in chicago finding themselves outnumbered by chicago police. they quickly cleared the streets just blocks away from the nato summit. the protest that had been largely peaceful erupted between activists and officers. officers in riot gear gradually forced the mass of people away from the convention center where lead r from about 60 nations are gathered for a summit. away from the downtown clashes authorities arrested two men allegedly seeking to build pipe bombs. and planning an attack on

26th consecutive night of protests ends with 69 arrests. nine of those include felony charges including assault against police officers. last night's protest came a day after a new emergency law was enacted banning spontaneous protests of more than 50 people. a man is behind bars in southern california tonight accused of shooting and killing a los angeles county bus driver. the shooting happened around 9:10 this morning. the gunman was a passenger who jumped out of the window and ran down the street after the shooting. the suspect was arrested right after the shooting on a nearby street. they do not know what prompted that attack. a financial stapable for thousands of people pursuing a degree is coming to an end. and cacok cracking down on

mostly sunny skies with that fog lurking offshore. at least we had some nice conditions for the viewing of the solar eclipse this evening except some pachs of fog bumping up on the shoreline. developing right now we have a stronger on shore breeze, so with that that's going to help import some of the low cloud

cover back into the bay over the next few hours and that low cloud deck will be a factor as we head into your monday morning. of course we're looking at the sun quite a bit over the past few hours. you can see the clear skies but out in the distance that fog bank developing and as a result we do have partly cloudy skies across parts of the bay area right now. upper 80s to right around 90 degrees, but of course we have the other extreme coast side here with those temperatures only in the low to mid-60s. but still very nice in san francisco in the upper 60s at 68. for tonight we do have fog increasing overnight. tomorrow some morning fog. temperatures will be cooling thicks off quite a bit for your monday and the extended sun cloud mix and a major dropoff in our temperatures. overnight lows for tomorrow cooler temperature for 40s. there's that fog, coast side and also right around the bay. this was the case today as high

pressure was in full command of our weather but this will gradually weaken as this system up to our north and west, this gradually moves down the coast and the cool air associated with that you'll begin to feel tomorrow. same deal for tuesday and into wednesday and thursday, the cooling trend will continue. at wear quality advisory posted for parts of the bay area shoreline right around mavericks for elevated levels of indicator bacteria. this advisory in place, we'll retest this region for tomorrow and hopefully we will have water quality in that area. our forecast model showing you some of the overcast first thing tomorrow morning. clearing back into the afternoon hours so partly sunny skies for the beaches. more sunshine inland as we head into the afternoon hours. forecast highs, no more 90s, warmest locations right around the 80 degree mark. oakland tops out 68.

the first half of this series was wrapped up tote at at&t park with the a's putting an end to a losing streak in the giants' home stadium. who better to match a brian wilson nome with a bobble head as wilson himself. they knocked in one run with a sacrifice fly in the second. posey with a line drive to left. beat as throw to the plate. 2-0 lead but the a's got four runs in the fourth. one already in. josh donaldson both score. on a fielder's choice, that set up a play you don't see often. let loose with a wild pitch and posey can't find the ball. when he does coming all the way

from second. takes something that looks more like a football shot. he stayed in the game but did not come out to pitch the 5th. in the bottom of the 5th the giants loaded the bases up. but struck out and then brandon belt both looking and the inning was over. it was still just in the 7th when josh made things much more comfortable for the a's. a locked pitch with a runner on. the a's are in front 6-2. brian fuentes was the fourth open reliever. he got his fourth win. the a's stopped their san francisco losing streak at 11 games. the a's make the long trip back to the coliseum. they play the first in three against the angels tomorrow night and melvin won't be asked about consecutive losses to the giants. hallelujah. i was tired of hearing about it.
