and you've got a lamborghini and a jet. so -- >> which is faster? >> see them both flying toward the finish line? >> i would say it's closer than i thought it was going to be. check out this video someone captured from michigan's upper peninsula where some people were whitewater rafting. the guy who shot this video said the river started forcing them back. >> were they trying to go up river? >> they were trying to go up river, but the river was forcing them backwards, and even turned the boat around on several occasions. >> geez. they're just stuck, because it looks like they've got water coming at them from all different directions. they're like trapped in that little area. >> apparently, the person in charge of this expedition was a teacher. >> imagine this is your first time out, getting lessons on whitewater rafting and then this happens. >> here's the instructor,

jumping into the water. >> whoa. isn't there some sort of whitewater rafting code where the captain is supposed to stay with the ship? >> the guy who shot the video said they were able to get everybody out and everybody seemed to be okay. luckily, this wasn't a huge like class 5 rapids. this looks like, a what, 1 or 2 so they're not in extreme danger. it's pretty calm rapids. but still, nonetheless, terrifying. some videos from two different countries with the same type of incident. this is in china. and this driver has been pulled over for not displaying license plates. so this officer attempts to stop him, but the driver decides he doesn't want to stop. so he continues to drive. as you see -- the officer basically, to avoid being -- jumps on the hood of the car, and the driver drives more than 200 meters before he finally

stops without hurting the police officer, fortunately. he is taken into custody here. and then he starts banging himself against the wall. >> that will solve it. any time you get in trouble, bang your head against the wall. >> they ended up jailing him for one year because he was driving with no license plate but also without a driver's license. according to some reports, he didn't want to be identified for whatever reason, so they put him in the trunk of the car. >> that's the way to not get caught. drive around with a cop on your car. >> in scotland, another driver was trying to get away from a security guard at a shop. as you can see, she was in such a hurry, 22-year-old stuart morris got caught on her hood as she was trying to get away. >> like the exact same video. it almost looks like the same guy in the same car. so the security guy got in front of her car because they thought she was shoplifting? >> they were trying to ask her questions regarding an alleged theft. she was trying to get away. the guard went to take the keys from the ignition, and that's

when she took off. >> so the guy on the hood of the car isn't a security guard, just a person walking across the road. >> happened to be walking across the street when she came and struck him. fortunately, an suv saw her before she could get on the freeway, so she was forced to stop. the woman has been given a sentence of four years and three months in jail. >> whoa! a woman in china is being hailed a hero by some, and being called foolish by others. this story is showing up on all kinds of media outlets across china. this is 27-year-old pang wei, she was in her village while the family was out in the field. and her children, including her 2-year-old daughter playing in the field near. her 2-year-old came a said someone hasalle in theriver. pang runs out and sees a child floating in the water. she doesn't think twice. she jumps in. she rescues the child, hands the child off to people who were on

the edge of this pond. they pull her up to the shore. pang is 6 1/2 months pregnant with twins. >> wow. >> when she did this. >> wow. >> and they're cooling her foolish, because she put her own life in danger and the life of her babies? >> right. now, she was immediately taken to the hospital, where they did test her to make sure she was okay. right now she and the babies are in stable condition. and doctors say she is still not in the clear, because the cold water could have had an effect long-term. >> people are going to have their opinion regardless. if she sat there and not done anything, people would have called her a coward. she is a mother herself. personally, i think it would be hard to see a 2-year-old drowning, especially when you have a 2-year-old of your own and not do anything about it. >> i think what she did was brave, because at the end of the day, everybody is alive. got a video for you guys from the sports strobe speedway, jeffersonville, indiana. some sort of race here, nick. you can probably tell us what

kind of race. funny car? >> it's like the low-grade stock car race. >> anyway, keep your eye on the red car. that's not the track. that's the grass. dude. you're doing it wrong, man. but this guy is a man on a mission. watch. >> oh! >> now, that wasn't an accident. he didn't fall asleep at the wheel. apparently, according to the guy who shot this video, jeff pile, this driver of the red car purposely smashed into that driver who is coming around the bend there, because he was angry about something. get out -- they're angry. >> they don't even take it to the side where no cars can run over. >> no time, gayle. they've got to fight immediately. other cars coming around the bend, like, you guys are fighting around the track here. oh! of course, when you pay to see a race and you see a fight, too, you're getting like two for one as a bonus. so the crowd loved it. it's like a race turned boxing

stressed out in a crowded situation to let people around them know that they are invading their personal space. >> how exactly does it work? >> yeah, exactly. it's a little bit bizarre. it has like an infrared sensor on it that senses the motion of people as they invade your space. and it's an electronic device. so it can then like send out some lasers in a 360-degree circle that can flash and pulse, based on your, like, rising heart rate. and it's supposed to simulate the stress that someone is feeling by having someone invade their personal space. to raise awareness to those around you. >> so you wear it, and people are supposed to get the nonverbal cues coming from this contraption? where do you wear it? >> it kind of goes over your shoulder, kind of like a beauty queen sash. >> if anything, this would work in the other way. this would counteract what you're trying to do. like, people would see these spinning buttons and all this
