moore via skype from alabama. did you panic when your boat wouldn't start? >> i knew i couldn't panic. i'm in charge of everybody on my vessel. that's what i call it. everybody on my boat is under my supervision. inside i was actually really panicking. >> are you and your wife super strong swimmers? >> no, we're not super swimmers. wish we were. maybe we would have gotten there a lot faster than we did. >> how long did this journey take? >> overall, it was probably 45 minutes, close to an hour. >> what happened to the boat? did you figure out what went wrong? >> there was some ignition problems. >> are you angry? this was a new boat to you? >> exactly. i was very upset. >> imagine you and your wife were just completely exhausted by the time you made it to shore. >> i was. she's a lot better swimmer than i am and she was tired, but not quite as tired as i am because i have asthma. >> were you encouraging your

wife at all, like, mush, mush? >> actually, it's funny, my wife, she swears by the five-hour drink things. i never drink them. she drunk a five hour drink and then one of her favorite songs came on and she leapt. she took off and left me. i didn't know if it was a five-hour drink or favorite song coming on, but i was like honey, go, go. >> does that earn her the position of captain now? >> no. guy walks into a deli in queens around 5:45 p.m. he's not there to check out that lovely looking fresh produce. watch this, got to say kind of tough to watch. guy walks in the door -- >> oh! >> oh, my gosh. >> and proceeds to stab that guy five times in his but tucks. >> is this like revenge or something? looked like he stabbed him and

see some dash cam video approaching a construction zone. >> oh! oh! >> see. that one made you go whoa! >> double whammy there. >> a double hit. >> what was wrong with the guy driving that truck? he hits one car, takes it out, and keeps going. >> the dump truck was rear ended by another vehicle off to the left you'll see a large what looks to be a black truck right there approach, lose control, smashes into the blue dump truck, pushes it into the other lane and right into the car we're riding in. again, everybody got out of this okay. people were wearing their seat belts. it looked worse than it was. >> people in the first car got out of that okay? >> you bet you. >> that's a miracle. they found something really big in rabbit valley, colorado. >> it wasn't a rabbit they found in rabbit valley.

>> you're assuming a fossil. >> you'recorrect. >> when thecaut w oticed that there was a little bit of bone that had fallen out of jacket. luckily what was happening we found this other bone underneath the bone we were intending to pull out and did not know this was here. >> what are we looking at the whole dinosaur, the nail, the tooth. >> the shoulder bone. >> that was so close. >> they pulled this 6-foot long shoulder bone out of a quarry. >> there's more vertebra under here and a femur going back that way. >> found by a team working with the dinosaur journey museum. they said they have been in the area for two to three years. >> what a magnificent discovery. because they, obviously, have a very special passion for these dinosaurs and for them to be able to actually find it, that's like everybody's dream. >> paleontologists said this is the longest bone they've gotten from the area that they've been working in in the last three years.

this video that's popping up on the internet, will show you just how tough u.s. marines are serving in afghanistan. bunker 530 posted this video of a fire fight u.s. marines are having in afghanistan. watch as this one marine is shot. >> get down! [ bleep ]. >> there he is screaming saying he's been shot in the neck. you can see the blood going into the ditch. that's filled with water where he's collapsed. this fire fight is still going on, but he's got one buddy there that's using a big knife to cut off some of his gear to get at that wound. they got his

go pro. then a thief comes along. a seagull picks up this go pro camera, takes it for a ride over the water. thinking it's on a tour of its own, eventually plops this thing down on a sidewalk. i must point out, the seagull is quite an artist itself because that's kind of a pretty shot there too. managed to get the sun in the frame, flies away. the owner of this video is natalie and she's joining us right this minute from milan to tell us about this seagull theft. first of all, natalie, we're glad you got your camera back. how is this bird able to pick the thing up in the first place? >> well, i was trying to take a video of the sunset, so i just put my camera on the wall. the seagull was walking around there. two minutes later it was eating my camera and flying on the water. >> was there a strap it was able to pick the camera up by? >> no. they probably have a bigger

mouth than i thought. >> did you have other vacation pictures and videos on there you could have lost? >> yes. i had 30 gigs of pictures, so i was totally stressed. >> how did you actually see the seagull drop the camera on the sidewalk? >> i didn't really see him. i just started running in that direction and there was a woman on the stairs and i asked her, have you seen a seagull with a camera in his mouth? she looked at me like -- what? and then i saw the camera at the end of the balcony and she was like, oh, my god, i can't believe it. i just start running towards the camera. peek-a-boo paw.

when you have a cool hobby like you like motorcycles, how exciting is it to buy a new one, right? this happens to be a ducati motorcycle show room in the uk. two guys walk in. >> they're ready to ride. got their helmets and gear on. >> i feel like they're up to no good because they didn't take their helmets off. >> they go after those two bikes and try to walk out the door with them. >> the staff at the show room were very quick on their feet. they went right after the two robbers that came in the door. eventually three. and started pushing them off the bikes. they manage to push all the robbers out of the door and keep the bike inside. this fight continues outside. that's the store manager adrian and he is not having it either. >> oh! >> yeah. >> pushes him off his bike.
