number nine on today's "rtm" top ten countdown caught on camera, courageous volunteers. >> two minutes, guys. i talked with a volunteer fire department responding to a house fire in west manchester township. this is in pennsylvania. we're getting to seie these gip fight this blaze up close and personal because one of these guys had a helmetcam. three people had to be rescued including a small child and a young pregnant woman. everyone made it out safe, but just listen to some of this. >> ah -- >> out of nowhere you see a window explode, and before you know it after that these guys are breaking in to this house. the home it a double-sided lock. they couldn't just break the window and open it from the inside. you had to bust through the

door. they were able to make it into this place finally. it's darkness, smoke. you see the fire. at one point you see the guy -- >> we've got a line. let's get this fire out. >> give you perspective what these guys are going through. brave guys going through a burning building. >> you feel like you're there, a part of it. >> you hear them communicate throughout this. >> hey -- >> command to check the basement. looking for other people, looking for pets. looking for anything. anything they could pull out of this home. fortunately, everybody made it out okay. >> to us seems remarkable and amazing. to them, that's their job. it may be what they do, keep in mind it's what they do for free. next up on the countdown, a little bit of a dangerous crazy at number eight. this is in boston at andrew square station and up on the top of the screen you see somebody walking into the shop. but look what he does right

synchronized smoke guns. the numbers you see, a quarter to a half a mile big, with numbers sparked over san francisco for about 100 miles. now, i could see doing this on, like, march 14th. 3-1-4, but why now? this was the kickoff to the ole-1, a month bsh long celebration of art and technology. >> the first time in, like, the history of school that math teachers said, everybody put your books down. let's go outside and look at the sky. it's the old sword down the throat stunt, but this dude proves just one isn't fun. >> he says that they do make it past his heart and all the way to his stomach. >> see how many swords he's swallowed. >> huh-uh. and a competition all about showing your moves l this 've got to plant,

>> traditionally we think of free running as taking place in urban city setting, but here at the red bull art of motion nature event, they take free running and blend it with nature. these athletes, 16 of them, are going to be doing all their cool stunts over a river in switzerland. >> the method, studies a way people move in a natural environment and mostly indifferent nous people and realized they were very limber and could move easily in their environment. trying to bring back that flavor. >> about 90 seconds to do their moves. what makes it different is none of the surfaces are flat or angled. they've got to plant, run, jump over all of this irregularity. >> and it's wet. >> yeah. >> look at this guy, sliding on his belly. >> it shows how comfortable these guys are with their abilities, because they are flipping around on these crazy surfaces they're not used to

knop helmet. no protection. >> but it's not your typical free running environment. so it's really weird to wrap your brain around it. >> not at all. makes it even more fun to watch, that it's in this nature setting. it's beautiful. next up on today's top ten countdown, our number four video is a world record. >> i have a feeling we're going to have a gag fest. >> oh, man. >> it's not gross. it's just a bit challenging. this guy just got the world record for swallowing the most swords. >> ah! >> hey, all of those are swords? >> yep. >> he's swallowing 24 swords at the same time. >> how do you have enough room in your throat for all that? >> it's practice. he won the world record back in 2010 for swallowing 18 swords, before he puts them in, you can actually see that they're sort of tapered. >> right. >> it starts off with less swords and then they get thicker

>> he lost it. he lost his camera in mid-air. >> the camera popped out of its case and is falling, falling, falling. 12.5 thousand feet. >> the fact we're seeing it means the camera survived. >> not necessarily. >> wow. are you kidding me? >> you see the skydiver gliding down with their parachutes. look is is actually the second to land. he has a blue parachute. look at his friend a dive master. he happened to just find the camera. it lands right close to where they all land with their landing targets. >> i have to show you my new camera. i'm not giving it back to ya! >> the camera survived the fall. without a scratch. still is working. of course, we have the video to prove it. and "right this minute" via skype from canada, we have lucas damm to tell us about this experience.

>> well, yeah. it's just want of those random things. it's like winning the lottery of lotteries. to have everything come together the with that it happened is mind-boggling. this year a lot of the jumpers were getting used to having to deal with a much smaller door, which has a little lower height to it. i guess it clipped the little clasp that actually secures the top of the gopro closed and bumped it on the way out. it popped up, and decided to go into a solo on its own. >> did you know the camera fell out? could you see it? >> no, no. i had no idea. i was excited, had an awesome jump. i go to turn it off, back door's open. i'm super choked. lost my goproeshgs i just got a little while earlier. just got a new one. >> are you amazed it didn't break? >> yeah. essentially not a scratch on it. lens totally clean. everything about it was like somebody gently put it on the ground pine can't believe it, considering how fast it was
