some of these cars, they stop to try to help brandy. two cars in particular of young teens stop. they got out. they tried to catch brandy, but that backfired. brandy is an adopted dog, and is skittish around strangers. >> oh. >> so brandy ran from the kids and jumped off the bridge. >> what? >> six stories into the water below. now, police who were on the scene thought -- my goodness. this dog's a goner. but they went down to the edge of the river, and there was brandy just running along the shore of the river. had landed just fine. no broken bones. nothing but a little bruise on her belly and she was no worse for the wear. >> to find out more about brandy, the incredible dog with obviously more than one life, we have brandy's owner, alexis via skype from burlington, new jersey. now when she was returned to you and you heard this story, what

went through your head? >> i couldn't believe it. i saw where she jumped and how far she swam to shore. i just said, it's a miracle. there's no way that could happen. >> what was it like to see the video of her running scared down the bridge? how did that feel? >> oh, i felt a pit in my stomach. my stomach flip-flopped. i said that can't be my dog. that's what she really went through? she actually did that? >> a ba-of-is brandy there with you? >> she's sleeping. >> she's still tired from her big adventure. >> yeah. she had a big day out. at number nine on the countdown, thousa countdown, how to stop what some call highway robbery. >> the truck pulled off on the side of the road because he has a flat tire. you see car pull over and another man walk up. there was a bit of a blunt -- but look at what happens next? a lot of congestion on the road caused by several lar

trucks. and then that man that supposedly stopped to help the truck driver with his tire goes over to this car he was riding in. notice how the truck that has gathered here, the trucks. the men in these trucks get off and they start heading to where this man and his buddies are inside this car. >> is he carrying a baseball bat? >> there's something going on here. >> reportedly, the nan got out to help the truck driver with the flat tire actually got out to try to extort him. try to get money from him. >> so these three highway bandits, really? >> so the guy with the flat tire got all of his buddies together to block this guy in? >> ah, nice! >> that's awesome. >> and sure enough, the punches start rolling. >> this is road justice going down. >> they are not messing around. the first guy hit is the guy in the black jacket, but he thinks to run off into the woods, but look at this buddies stand ip right next to the car. he just falls to the grourchd

and one guy starts to-of-just beating and kicking him. it you thought the beating was it, it's not. >> oh, goodness. >> everybody seems to gather around the car again, because they are about to finish the job by flipping it. >> oh! >> they flipped the car? >> remind me never to try to extort a truck driver. >> did their job. did one of these. we're counting down to a crazy number one. right now at number eight, it's all caught on video. >> once police catch the bad guy and get him to the jail, you think the trouble's over. right? that wasn't the case recently in berkeley county, south carolina. you see 37-year-old ronald reed holding a female sergeant hostage. >> oh. >> demanding to talk to his girlfriend. so another officer takes this guy's phone and puts it on counter and says, okay. there's your phone. and what he looks over to the phone, that's when these other officers pounce. this guy caused quite a ruckus

prior to this video. he was pulled over after running a red light. gave the officer a false name and false birth date. police late her to use a stun gun on this guy after he tried to attack other officers while they put him in a patrol car. in the patrol car, he kicked doors, kicked windows. he was placed in an interview room back at this detention center and get this. they found him with his pants down and he peed all over the detention room. >> oh -- >> that's how this all happened, because a female sergeant and another officer escorted him to a bathroom where he could get himself cleaned up, that's when he grabbed her and put her in this choke hold. 37-year-old ronald reed is phasing a slew of charges now, also taking a hostage. taking you through today's top videos. at number seven, a final memory. >> an historic flight flew over tucson, arizona. it was spectacular. of course, you've probably seen many of these videos of space
