crash and road rage incident in oakland. two vehicles collided leaving a white car crumpled. the drivers got into a fight witnesses say the suspect stomped on the head of the other driver and then escaped the crash happened at 18th avenue and international boulevard it was 7:30 p.m. tonight. we are told the victim was taken to hospital, police have not released details on the suspect but we are told he took off in his vehicle. we now know the name of a woman killed in a freak accident in south bay when a truck tipped over and fell right on top of her. robert honda tells us she was a single mom and left behind a young daughter. >> reporter: 2-year-old olivia returned home today from child protective services and the couple taking care of olivia is trying to get her used to the reality mom is gone. >> i want what is best for her. i hope we stay in her life. >> reporter: the mother, 23- year-old shayla was killed

yesterday riding her bicycle near downtown san jose when she was crushed from a collision between two commercial trucks the couple, katie and jeff, took in shayla several years ago to help her get established after a life spent mainly in foster homes. >> she was a sweet heart, really a sweet heart and she was really trying hard. >> reporter: the dedication paid off 2 months ago she was hired at this pet salon, a job she was headed to when the accident occurred. >> she felt really safe with animals and it was her aim to have her own dog grooming business one day she was working so hard to pull it together she wanted to make a good life for olivia. >> salon workers are mourning shayla and regrouping for olivia's sake. >> they are really concerned about her daughter she just
