it shows a confrontation at the san bruno station in which a b.a.r.t. police officer tells him to get off the b.a.r.t. train. the chief says its policy allows the use of a stun gun if someone poses an immediate threat. >> an officer doesn't have to be punched before he uses his taser or his tools on his equipment belt. >> he allegedly talked to a woman on the train. the woman blogged about the experience saying, quote, i was never concerned about my safety. if i really felt worried, i would have moved. he pleaded no charges of being drunk and disorderly and served 15 days. a hired security guard shot and wounded a suspected burglar today. police say the guard spotted what he believed to be two

burglars making off with tvs and a telescope from a home on water house road in the upper diamond district. at one point, the burglar came at him with a screwdriver. the guard shot him in the leg. he was arrested. the other man, the victim was, he was arrested. the other man got away. the neighborhood stipulated when it hired the security company that the guards would be allowed to carry guns. still today's shooting raises questions about the use of deadly force and whether everyone is comfortable with armed guards patrolling their neighborhood. paul has more. >> reporter: frank, georgia state, there are more reactions. i even talked to them asking if they should be allowed to carry guns. some say yes, some say no somewhere pleased that security guard stood up. others say it went a little too far. >> annie is talking about the

six new police officers were sworn in today in antioch. the new recruits are experienced officers who have been working in other cities. so why are they coming to antioch? rob roth with the answer. >> reporter: these new officers under went fire arms training this afternoon. the six officers may be new to antioch but not new to law enforcement. the past 13 years was spent as a patrol officer for the stockton
