little dog. >> how is this thing even alive? >> the person that noticed it heard whimpering coming from the trash can and went to check it out and that's when they saw there was a dog inside. it's difficult to see the size of the dogs on the burn. exposed skin. >> looks like he's sliced open there. >> not only that, he also had an upper respiratory infection. this was back in march. the humane society took care of him for two months, fed him and he has a forever home. you're about to see him. >> he looks so great. >> look at his little underbite with his little jaw. >> that's cindy, his new mom. she saw a news report about his story and she was like, you know what, i have to have him. that's my little pooch. and his name is edgar. >> edgar. >> that dog loves her. >> i love you too. >> now i'm hoping you'll tell me, that there were cameras and able to catch the person who dumped this dog. >> what i can tell you is that

the police aring le looking for person. anyone with information are asked to provide leads to bring the evil people to justice. beautiful ending to what could have been a tragic end for this dog. a fella out for a ride on his scooter in pretoria, south africa, gopro on his helmet but he is definitely an alert scooter rider. pay attention to what he's paying attention to. >> watch this, watch this, watch this. >> that thing was like a runaway train going through what looked like a red light. >> you're absolutely right seeing a coca-cola truck, one of the double trailer trucks. according to reports it lost control as it was going through that intersection and hit two other vehicles. but this guy with the gopro his name is martin jacobs, he actually saw this truck was getting out of shape. he got out of the way but he also springs into action. he quickly gets off his scooter and he runs to help the people in the cars who were hit by this truck and look at some of the damage that it caused. you can see this small silver

car was pretty banged up. the guy inside is responding to jacobs as he goes up to check on him. are you all right? >> hold on. >> the coke truck skipped. >> you can tell the driver was shaken up. look at the other vehicle the coca-cola truck hit. the back is smashed in badly. this driver also okay and responding to jacob. >> are you guys all right? >> yeah. >> they did quickly call for help. first responders did show up. four people total were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries, but everybody was okay. it could have been much, much worse. this is something you don't see every day. what i'm talking about is this man right here. he's standing in line in the bank. notice there's something i hand. that would be a mamachete. other hand a hammer. gets up to the window. hands the teller a note. the teller didn't tell him what he wanted to hear and he takes the hammer and starts banging on the window. everybody starts scattering because they're thinking this

guy has a hammer at the bank. according to police this man wasn't there to rob the bank hp he was upset he believes the bank was overcharging him. >> what did the note say? >> they don't know what the note said. according to police it was not drugs, wasn't there to rob the bank, he was upset because he felt the bank was overcharging him. >> i'm not saying it's right what he did but ever sat on the long customer service holds waiting. they charge you some kind of bank fee they're not supposed to charge you for. it's frustrating. >> not like the teller did it. >> taking it up with that person is going to go you nowhere. >> in australia they're calling this man an australian. we would just call him rotten. watch what happens in this mcdonald's in melbourne. he's putting change into that tin. that tin or what we call a can is to raise money for veterans. but this guy is not just putting money in there. he cut that cord that can was attached to and then covers the tin with his sweater and carries it out of the mcdonald's

to move and you see him get -- >> oh, shoot. >> he gets run over by that cement truck but there's enough room it looks like. room he didn't get crushed. >> well sort of. the cement truck runs over that 85-year-old man. he's down. he a 17-year-old student runs to his aid immediately. they try to stand him up but his legs -- >> oh, no. >> yes. >> you can see. >> his legs are badly injured. other people quickly rush over to help this man out of the street. the truck driver kept going. the truck driver never even saw the man trying to beat the light. look at how close the guy was to the truck. those flat front trucks he couldn't see the guy. police don't believe any charges will be levied against the driver of that cement truck. now, two other students ran to a nearby hospital wept into the emergency room and grabbed a gurney and ran it back to this guy. instead of waiting for an

ambulance to be called. sadly his legs had to be amputated. >> oh, that's so heartbreaking. >> the students did a good deed helping out. this guy also on a scooter doing a nice deed. up ahead there's a bus stop right there. you see the bus beginning to drive away. a man right behind it running after the bus. he missed the bus. the bus keeps going. this guy pulls up. >> oh, no way. >> yeah. he saw that guy miss the bus and he says hey, mate, want a ride on my scooter? the guy is like, yeah. >> cool. >> i do. hops on the scooter. gives a little throttle. drives him to the next bus stop and drops him off. and the dang bus keeps going again. he misses it again. >> are you serious? oh, no. does the guy on the scooter get him back on and keep going? >> sure does. >> this is great. this time the scooter rider decides to get the bus driver's attention. honks the horn a couple times and gets in front of the bus. drops him off.

i love alton brown. a lot know him from food network. he's an everyday guy that figures things out in the kitchen ta a lot of people identify with. he's figured out how to super charge your pepper mill. so all you need is a cordless drill and you also need a 35 millimeter film canister. he takes the film out and then cuts a third of the canister off. cuts out a little part of the lid because the pepper drill has an axle.
