setting flooding that overran the st. louis area last week is moving south. the high water claimed dozens of homes and businesses. water continues to rise in southern illinois where levies are saturated. officials warn of a dangerous situation. in california, folks are getting recalled for el nino-induced storms that lined up over the mississippi. weathercaster jackie johnson of our los angeles station says nearly the entire west coast will be impacted by the severe weather. a strong winter storm system is pounding the west coast today. in fact, these are all of the warnings and advisories that are in place in the pacific north west. a high surf advisory is in effect anywhere from 20 to 24 feet a. winter weather advisory is in effect for the mountains for five inches of snow and strong winds. but speaking of snow, winter

come here, come here. >> an albuquerque police officer found the missing three-year-old girl safe but scared after her mother's car was stolen with her inside. she was discovered early sunday nearly five hours later in a parking lot about three miles away t. officer who found her is a father of three, himself. >> i'll be honest, i'm going to start crying, i was happy that we were able to find her. >> police are still searching for the man that found the car and left the girl out in the cold all alone. to sports now, the nfl is getting close to making a return to los angeles. on monday the san diego chargers, oakland raiders and st. louis rams filed to relocate to l.a. for the start of next season. the nfl owners will vote on a potential move next week. pro-football hasn't been played since 1994 when the rams and raiders both left town.
